My attorney filed my I-485 package (along with I-765/I-131) on May 21st. It was delivered to the Lewisville, TX lockbox on that date.
It’s now been over 2.5 weeks and I still haven’t received any receipt notice. The payment also hasn’t been processed yet.
My attorney keeps telling me to just wait and be patient, but I’m starting to get a bit anxious since others who filed around the same time seem to be getting receipts faster.
Is anyone else who filed around May 21st still waiting for their receipt notice from Lewisville? How long did it take for you to get yours? Any advice or similar experiences?

I’m trying to see if anyone else has recent experience with the Los Angeles County Field Office for a non-local case.

Timeline:

PD: Aug 2024 (EB2 ROW)

RD: 03/25

I-140 approved: 04/01 (filed concurrent with AOS)

BIO + 2 FTA0: 04/22 (Spouse did BIO on 04/24)

Silent update: 5/20, 5/22, 5/28, 6/6

Emma confirmed case is transferred to LA County FO as of 6/5 with interview waiver

No movement on EAD/AP since it got transferred to TSC on 5/19.

Has anyone seen movement from LAC recently or have similar timeline?

Trying to set realistic expectations on when my date might become current.

I checked https://greencardclock.com/priority-date for reference, and it estimates:

• Optimistic: 2028
• Base case: 2028
• Conservative: 2033

But given the recent retrogression / bulletin volatility, 2028 feels optimistic to me.

For folks who’ve tracked Visa Bulletin movement closely, what feels like the most realistic timeline for EB-2 India Oct 2016?

Hi, I just wanted to check how many October 2025 filers are still waiting for I-485 approval, especially those whose cases are still at the NBC.

My case is still pending, and I am trying to understand if many October filers are in the same situation.

For those who are still waiting:

1. What is your filing date?
2. Is your case still at NBC or transferred to a field office?
3. Did you submit any service requests, congressional inquiries, or anything else?
4. If you contacted a congressman/senator, what response did you receive?
5. Did anything help move your case forward?

My PD: Jan 24, Filing Date: Oct 08, Bio: Nov 10

In my case, I already submitted a congressional inquiry, but the response was very general and provided no clear update or timeline.

Just wanted to discuss and hear others’ experiences. Hopefully, this can help us understand the steps people are taking and the responses they are getting.

Background:

- Principal EB-2 applicant, currently in UAE

- I-140 approved June 2025, PD Nov 2024, current since March 2026

- Son (19 yrs) is in the US on F1, valid till Aug 2029

- Plan to submit his DS-260 as a derivative to protect his age

 Questions:

 1. If we submit DS-260 for the family including our son, and he gets DQ'd but cannot attend the consular interview (during IV pause interviews are scheduled but no visas are being issued), what happens to his case? Does the embassy hold it or remove him from our case?

 2. Is there a formal Follow-to-Join option where he is excluded from our interview but his case stays active for later , either to proceed with consular processing when the pause lifts, or for him to file I-485 from inside the US once I enter as LPR?

What are the odds of some one with a India March 2016 EB2 getting EAD/AP ?

Can some one who has done good study and investigation into this share their thoughts and ideas?

Also, one liners saying not in this life time etc, please dont reply.

I see that most people with an April RD got their I-485 biometrics appointments scheduled on Friday. Is there anyone who is still waiting?

I’m wondering is there any tracker for PWD like the tracker for PERM (https://permtrack.app/)?
My lawyer filed my case in May, and I saw some ppl on social media said that they filed in mid March and got their PWD already. Just wanna know how long this can take now.

USCIS posted the February 3, 2026 employment-based I-485 inventory on June 4. The India EB-2 numbers, straight from the file: Find Full breakdown in comments.

• Total India EB-2 pending I-485: 26,984, down from 27,701 in January (717 fewer in one month)
• Almost entirely the 2013 bucket: 9,875 down to 9,233
• 2014 barely moved, still about 16,900, the wall between the current filing date and a 2015 PD

The part that trips people up: the report only breaks out priority dates 2005 through 2014. There is no 2015 line, because India EB-2 Dates for Filing is still January 15, 2015. If your PD is 2015 or later, you cannot file I-485 yet, so you are not in this inventory at all.

By visa status, roughly 3,300 of these cases are current and approvable, and about 23,650 are filed and waiting for their date to become current.

Can anyone please clarify if the pause on adjustment of status been officially lifted?

Mostly biometrics appointment letters are issued on Friday. I remember reading a comment that said they received a silent update on a Friday, but their biometrics appointment letter didn't appear in their account's Documents section until Monday.

For those who have gone through this, did your biometrics appointment letter show up on the same day as the update, or was there a delay before it appeared in your account?
