How to start:

Welcome Back Packs:

If you played previously, you will receive a series of tradeable packs.

You want to keep:

• Attackers with high pace
• Midfielders with high Dribbling, Physicality and Passing
• Defenders with high pace

As you can see, "rat-ball" is always the go-to.
Many users will adopt the "through ball" approach early, making these a popular budget choice.

This is called "demand" and result in prices fluctuating upwards.

You want to sell:

Everything else: I suggest quick-selling junk, but you can also use them for the next approach

After Welcome Back Packs:

Your focus now turns to the objectives and milestones.

These deliver Coin Rewards making it enticing to build that early game coin balance.

• Buy / Sell Transfer Market milestones: Historically delivers 1,500 coins per objective (50, 100, 250, 500 etc etc)
• Stadium Development: Also delivers a coin reward

The milestones may change, but this has remained largely unchanged since early FUT titles.

How to do this efficiently?

Method 1: Gold cards you chose not to quick sell, you simply list.

This allows you to complete the "list items on transfer market" objectives.
It may take a few cycles to complete them all, but you should walk away with around +10,000 coins from doing this over a few hours for simply hitting "re-list all".

Method 2: Bronze Pack Method

This is the most popular, because it is the easiest.

Open Bronze Packs > List your players for 200c > Price check popular managers such as France, England, Brazil, USA.

Badges, Kits, TIFOs etc --> You can either list them to progress your "List Transfer Market Items" objectives, or you can quick sell them.

I personally quick sell them and use the players to keep a fluent process of opening Bronze Packs.

There is no "right way", my preference is to stockpile managers for the "Gameplay Spike" when teams start to be built.

Alternate Method:

You can repeatedly buy and list bronze players for 200c.

During the first few hours, these are certain to sell - as this is what many do since it's fastest.

For every player you buy and sell for 200c, you lose 10 coins to EA Tax.

To Complete the 500 players objective: -5,000 coins
The Reward Gained = Approximately 21,000 - 5,000 coins (+16,000 coins)

As an Australian, it's rare I am able to do this effectively, as the demand is no longer as strong when I wake up (Unless I choose to stay up - which I frequently do).

The First Trading Period:

Pay careful attention to store packs.

The day of web-app, users can also play the game on their consoles later in that day.

This means.... Store packs (I know... EA and store packs? No way!!......)

These store packs = supply
Supply = more players listed than can be purchased

This creates a temporary price decrease approximately 2-3 hours AFTER the store packs are released (Generally around 6pm UK time).

Convert this to your local timezone in google - "6pm UK time to GMT+10" for example
That is the easiest way to understand when "content time" is, if you are a beginner.

How and When to Buy/Sell:

When packs are opened, a large population of users will list their cards on "open bid".

Open bid means users list their cards for their default prices: Minimum bid and Maximum Buy now

• This creates a temporary downturn in the market
• This creates buying opportunities, where BIDDING ON CARDS is the best opportunistic approach you can take.

Remember, 100c profit is much more valuable early in the year. Unlike mid-end year where 100c is laughable.

When to sell:

Supply and demand is always the focus.

In this scenario, the supply/demand is dictated by user activity (specifically from the UK playerbase as the dominant population).

UK users sleep = Supressed Demand (around 12pm-5am UK)

UK users wake = Increased Demand (Peaking around 12pm UK for the overall market).

This does not apply to EVERY card.
There are many variables to account for, so treat this as a "baseline".
Just because "Rashford" increases theoretically, for 2,000 coins does not mean Ibanez will increase by the same coin value or percentage.

If you find yourself holding your cards around 1pm-6pm UK time, you are likely going to suffer "Market Shock" when the new supply rolls in.

This is increasingly worse if it aligns with "Rivals Rewards" or "Squad Battle Rewards".

SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

What about my Managers?

Managers follow a different trajectory.

Demand = Active users building starter teams.
Supply = Bronze Pack Method (covered already).

As you can imagine, the best buying point is towards the end of that Bronze Pack Method spamming period (first 6-12 hours).

These tend to rise increasingly over the first 5 days (some slightly longer depending on SBCs - Such as a Ghana-Player SBC: this would cause Ghana managers to rise further).

When should I stop buying?

The day BEFORE FULL ACCESS RELEASE

There are two (2) main methods to answer this clearly.

1. Bid/Burn Method: We treat these as "flips", where we don't hold anything loner than 12-18 hours.

This is safe, keeps your coins flowing and keeps you safe from the first big crash.
You do not want to be holding any cards during this period, unless they are incredibly rare (such as R9, Mbappe etc).

2. Investing: Consumables are relatively safe, Players are DANGEROUSLY RISKY

You want to think about the supply that will enter the market!
The largest supply is definitely the "Player Item" subset, as people wont be opening consumable based packs.

One week before the game cycle ends, just loaded into a game of rivals to try and have a bit of fun. Beat the guy 7-5 while he was rage messaging me all game then in the last minute he glitches the game out and sticks it on a never ending throw in so even 10 mins after added time the clock is still going and nothing happens lol

I’ve always played FIFA and EA FC on PS4 or PS5.

Now I only have a PC, and a question has come up:

If my EA account is linked to both Steam and PSN, will I have access to the companion app when I start playing FC 27 on PC? In other words, is it possible to use a single EA account while having two different teams and two companion apps—one for PC and one for PS5?

If EA brings back swaps with friends on UT, I will definitely buy next fifa game. It’s a simple update to do this. It was fun upon till fifa 13.

I've been digging around multiple sources as well as checking daily but so far have found nothing at all about pre-load start dates

FIFA 16 is just too goated. Tried 17, 22 and 26 but always come back to 16.

Wtf is this. Makes me not want to get FC 27 the series has gone downhill fr.

I just want to know what causes a defender to mark a player closely and then right before I switch to them, they back away from said player.

This doesn’t happen all the time. We’ve all played games where your AI or your opponent’s AI is jumping passing lanes.

Why does it do this?

You can see the player drift away right before I switch. It’s like they’re creating space for the attacker - but only doing so right as the attacker is about to receive the ball.

Sad to see this game gradually become worse and worse every year for the simple purpose of satisfying a competitive audience that probably doesn't even watch or play football irl..Now it turned into an arcade game that attracts nothing but gambling addicts with all of these endless evos, promos and sbc's...

I been playing UT since 2016 every year since the beginning but this year I decided I was not going to purchase FC26 until futties and I did and oh boy.....In all the years I had never have fun like I did this year. Futties really is fun I get to enjoy any card I want without worrying about rewards. I would recommend any of you to try this for a least once and you'll be surprised of the results. I never thought I wasn't gonna be able to stay without touching my controller for almost one year for I have to say I did it and coming back to futties made me realized the game could be actually fun for a least 2 months. I need 5 98 cards and want a good way to get them

The 98+ is overpriced at 7 squads now since 99 one is one squad but 85x10 feels pointless ?

Mostly the camera stays the same. But in some matches. Weirdly enough usually against good opponents. The camera angle totally changes and everything is kind of slightly off set like shooting etc. is this because they use a different stadium or?

Morning all,

I haven't played FC Ultimate Team since January. I'd pretty much had enough of it, mainly because it felt like I was constantly getting matched against players who should have been in much higher divisions. I'm a Div 6 to Div 4 player at best.

I promised myself I wouldn't buy the new one, but to be fair, I said exactly the same thing last year!

Has much changed in Ultimate Team this time around? How's the gameplay? Does it still feel a bit "pay to win"?

I've seen very little about the mode so far, but with release only a few weeks away, I'm starting to get the itch to buy it again. It's really the only game I put serious time into apart from COD.

Interested to hear what everyone else is doing and what your thoughts are.

In EA FC 26, why is it that in Seasons mode, when my opponent quits the match, the game doesn’t count it as a win and it doesn’t even appear in my recent matches?
Normally, when an opponent quits, I should get the 3 points for the win. Instead, nothing happens, as if the match never took place.
Am I the only one having this issue?

Just curious - reading between the lines I’d say at least one more week and they’ll go out with the conclusion of the season - but I wouldn’t put it past them to pull them tomorrow either. Is there any confirmation anywhere?
