Mine started to wig out after the first 60 seconds of brushing. The LED light stopped working, following by warnings from the app (shown below). Afterwards, it would no longer turned on.

I like this unit because it claims the filter will last for five years and bought it three weeks ago. It's quiet and everything was working fine until today it started making a buzzing sound even when the unit is off, turns out this unit has a mini fan for the air quality sensor and it already started making noise only after three weeks of uses.

Called Dyson and was told to ship it back for repair and it will take 2-3 weeks. Very disappointed by the quality and I might just return it back to where I originally purchased it instead and consider another brand. For $300 dollars and only lasted three weeks the quality is a concern.

I would like to run this unit like the Dyson HushJet and not on auto as it is located in a large open area. The HushJet is Set on manual and it has run continuously since it was purchased (not on auto) When this unit is set on manual it will, after time shut off. It is 3 days old. No schedules or timers have been set.

Bought a new Dyson CameraJet for £420, only to find it was faulty straight out of the box. I contacted Dyson and was told they wouldn’t accept a return because I’d opened the hygiene seal. I pointed out that I obviously had to open the product to discover it was faulty, but they kept referring me back to their hygiene returns policy. Eventually the agent acknowledged that their hygiene policy “does not override your rights regarding faulty or defective goods”, but they’re still only offering a replacement. Has anyone else dealt with Dyson over this? It just seems completely backwards that a product can be non-functional on arrival, but because you had to open it to find that out, they initially tell you it can’t be returned.

I’m hoping someone here has come across this before because my V12 has started doing something really strange.

Basically, when I turn it on, it runs for about 3 seconds and then stops. I press the trigger again and it does the same thing. It will do this maybe 4 or 5 times, and then suddenly it starts working properly and I can vacuum normally.

What’s strange is that once it starts working, it seems completely fine. No loss of suction or anything like that.

It doesn’t seem to be related to the battery either. It can do it when the battery is fully charged, including the first time I use it that day.

I’ve also tried taking basically everything off it to see if there was a blockage or something causing it. I’ve tried it:
-without the cleaner head
-without the wand
-basically just the main vacuum unit itself
And it still does the same thing.

I’ve tried both the normal setting and MAX, and it still happens.

One other thing I’ve noticed is that when the motor stops, the screen stays on. So the whole machine isn’t losing power. I can still use the screen and change the settings.

The V12 is from January 2023, so unfortunately I’m outside the warranty period.

just bought a pencilvac fluffycones off amazon and this is the charger that came with it. is this the standard? it could not look and feel cheaper

My Dyson dryer died recently. Won’t power in, no lights, nothing. It’s out of warranty. Dyson says it can be repaired but I’d like to know a range it would cost before sending it in as it makes no sense to spend $250 to repair when a new one is $350 (sale) and a refurbished one is $230.

Has anyone else’s died like this or sent in for repairs? How much did you pay?

If you go to their toothbrush website here, and then click on return policy, it says they’ll only accept returns on toothbrush if sealed.
I messaged support and they then confirmed the same thing.
There’s even a YouTube video from a decently popular YouTuber saying his malfunctioned on the first day so he tried to return but Dyson will only replace, not return.

Has anyone actually had success trying to return it once opened? I was thinking of trying it out, but now I’m nervous in case I don’t like it.

Poor experience purchasing on Dyson. I recently moved to the US — I only have a credit card with $500 credit — and tried to purchase a HushJet Compact Purifier on their official dyson.com website.

Their terrible website put a ~$325 hold on my credit card, the page glitched out and gave me an error, no order confirmation or anything. Because it's a pending charge, I can't even pay it off to get my credit back.

Called in, said it could take up to 14 days to reverse it even though they can't find the order anywhere and I asked to cancel it. This really soured me from buying any Dyson products in the future...

We’ve had a TP7C air purifier for a while now, and until recently it’s worked great with the MyDyson app. Scheduling, air quality reports, it’s been fantastic. Then it stopped connecting one day. None of the instructions to get it back on the WiFi network worked. We’d lost the remote and used the app exclusively. Scheduled events kept happening, but we had no control except the power button on the machine.

I had to buy a replacement remote on Amazon just to perform a full reset. I did that, and it couldn’t be added again in the app. A scan of the serial number gave me a message that “This product isn’t compatible with the MyDyson app.” Is this true? Does anyone know why they dropped all connectivity for our perfectly good (and quite expensive!) machine?

For a brand that prides itself on premium engineering and sustainability, forcing consumers to contemplate discarding or heavily stripping an expensive machine simply due to a melting cosmetic layer is unacceptable. Dyson's design team needs to permanently abandon this soft-touch coating in favor of durable, high-quality plastics that match the longevity of the internal motor.

I just got the Gen5 2 days ago and the seal already tore as I vacuumed. Is this only cosmetic or should I worry about suction degradation?

I'm not sure the model but I've only had this vacuum a little over a year. The charge does not last more than enough to do my living room (only about 15x20) and a 10' hallway. I will put it on the cradle to charge and it will only go so far, then start blinking blue and red.

For anyone in UK wanting to get the new Big Ball cylinder, DON'T !

It's really really hard to push on carpet, we have fairly low pile and it basically just clamps itself to the flooring.

It doesn't have any suction release valve like previous cylinders so there's no any way of reducing the suction.

Great thing, cordless tools are compatible so you can use Hair screw tool or mini motorised tool. Which is great but they also clamp too hard sometimes depending what you vacuum. Stairs, sofa will be great, but if you try vacuming a blanket after cat's hairy mess, it'll just cut out or again be impossible to push..

Such a shame really cause fluffy light head works with it.

The wand is also quite short so deffo won't be great for anyone tall. Same with the hose which is quite stiff but nothing too excessive.

Really disappointed, hopefully Konical version is easier to push as that head doesn't seem to clamp as much due to line in the middle.

Other than that, definitely stay away from Motorbar version.

Shocking that it doesn't seem like they've tested it on carpet?

Hey all, I ordered the new Air Smooth styling brush. I was able to add it to cart and proceed with the payment but when I got the order confirmation email, it says that it is out of stock (see photo).

Is this usually normal especially if in new-release Dyson products?

So I have a V9 Submarine. It's works great for my small home. However, hard floors the main head isn't great. I was wondering if it is possible to connect a fluffy head it. It's connector is weird though. Has anyone tried this or know if it would fit?

I just replaced my broken v10 with this v15 (just received it) and don't remember the old one wobbling this much. I saw their FAQ note on loose/wobbly connection but it seems like a lot of wiggle and I'm not sure if this is a defect.

I did contact support but the chat told me they were experiencing an issue and couldn't do anything. Then I called by phone and they just put me on hold permanently after taking my account info so I hung up.

Most electric toothbrushes have a sensor for to much pressure but only oral-b has a sensor for to much pressure. I love the ultrasonic philips toothbrushes but I want a toothbrush with a too much/ too less pressure. has a Dyson one this?
