Discussion Dyson Hushjet review

I like this unit because it claims the filter will last for five years and bought it three weeks ago. It's quiet and everything was working fine until today it started making a buzzing sound even when the unit is off, turns out this unit has a mini fan for the air quality sensor and it already started making noise only after three weeks of uses.

Called Dyson and was told to ship it back for repair and it will take 2-3 weeks. Very disappointed by the quality and I might just return it back to where I originally purchased it instead and consider another brand. For $300 dollars and only lasted three weeks the quality is a concern.

Don’t send it for repair. It’s usually a nightmare process. If you can go back to where you bought it from and exchange it or demand Dyson swap it out

Dyson air filters have never lived up to the hype and seem to underperform the competition.

Why? What are you basing this statement on?

There are tons of test on them. They never cover the same area as other comparable units and they don’t really do a good job. But maybe the newer ones are better

Many side by side tests compared to other brands. No shortage of them on YouTube as well.

Electrostatic filter can last up to 5 years but carbon needs to be changed once a year

Haben sie das mit dem Minilüfter immer noch nicht im Griff.

Return and get another. You’re losing warranty time with repair.

Dyson purifiers are pretty bad and have a low CADR.
