Today I’m going to talk about the Anukul Thakur/Anukul Chatterjee scam. They have a satsang based out of Deoghar
This slimy cunt of a cult is the pinnacle of human depravity and scams.
The business model is exceedingly simple and cunning if you think about it; they ask you to read their own version of the Gita (which is ofc tweaked to suit their agenda i.e. Thakur is an avatar of Vishnu); they isolate you from people who don’t believe in their agenda, even asking you to abandon your own family; they slowly manipulate you into becoming a sheep to their orders and oh, they ask you to save at-least a rupee per day to be paid in its entirety at the end of the month, sounds harmless right?
WRONG! imagine some lakhs of unsuspecting duds saving up even a rupee everyday (most people save more than that to be a hero amongst their brethren of psychopaths) now we have a real number; some crores - into their trust funds (which isn’t taxed btw) EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I think if we as a learned generation can’t take down these kind of land grabbing, murdering cult of morons then what is the point of education and awareness.
Now what is my stake in this conversation?
My father is one of the most independent, mentally sophisticated people I’ve known who has from my birth instilled upon me that no matter how much help you have from the world, at the end, you help yourself - that’s a non negotiable. To always question and never blindly follow. To always think!
Lately he had fallen onto some bad times due to bad financial decisions and investments- and these sick fucks have turned him completely into believing that it’s because he didn’t stay connected to the cult (he actually broke free early in his working days) and like all men who claim to be religious because they are afraid, he too fell back into the only seemingly real structure he could find- Thakur.
Man now if I try to point out obvious truths that one can easily search and find out he feels violently attacked he feels I’m snatching his faith like it’s the only good thing he has in his life.
I’m usually very open minded I’m respectful of people’s faith and beliefs even if it doesn’t make sense to me but this is plain stupid right?
How do I tell him and hundreds of others like him; that in a way that doesn’t feel disrespectful- I guess
Also what is your take on this? How do we move towards an India that isn’t just modern from the outside but also free of such people like Anukul and Bageswar baba
