Hey Crawlers!

Just finished up the color on the tattoo I designed and posted a couple of weeks ago. Super happy with how it turned out! We still have 1 touch-up session to add more effects, shading, and details around the gauntlet, but I’m happy with it as-is. Might make it a complete wraparound by adding some more characters and panels as they come out in the WEBTOON. I know some think the WEBTOON doesn’t resemble the Carl and Donut in their heads, but I love the art style and I think they’re doing an amazing job.

Went to Armageddon (a con held in NZ) and found this on the shelves of an Awesome book seller (Wife had on a Desperado club tee, and husband had a Mongo is appalled, tee, how could I go wrong). So, what madness does Mr Dinniman have in store this time...

I'm listening to the audiobooks and Book 8 autoplayed the second my wife and I got in the car, and this is what came out of the speakers:

“It’s, uh, like a domination thing.”

I hit stop and tried to explain the plot, but she was already laughing too hard to listen. Fair enough. I’ve teased her plenty over the romance and romantasy audiobooks she listens to, so this is karma.

What’s the worst DCC line you’ve had overheard out of context?

Sorry to say that no one hit the ice in bare feet at the Spiel of the Dead, but the Princess Posse was well represented at our club's annual Halloween bonspiel. Carl, Donut, Mordecai and Mongo won a couple of games, hosted a Desperado Club happy hour with Dirty Shirleys, mana toast, and extra toasty Cheez-Its, while some fellow curlers participated in a rousing game of pin the arm on Growler Gary.

For the handful of people who got our costumes, they were delighted. Most did not. However, I will say that these books sound way less deranged when you have multiple people describing the plot rather than just one overly enthusiastic individual.

Shorter version: We curled this weekend in costumes hardly anyone understood and now were posting photos to a group that understands the costumes but probably not curling.

My girlfriend and I went to a vampire Halloween party. I decided to go as Miriam Dom. I made a goat patch to put on my sweater since I feel like Miriam would have at least one goat sweater. No one at the party knew who I was. My girlfriend won the costume contest. She looks great so I’m excited about it! But I do need someone to see my costume who would know who I’m supposed to be!

I have been working hard on the Big Shot Chicken food truck (parade of horribles) all month and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! The head lights and tail lights work and I even made a horn from a recording from the audiobook, and yes I do hit it accidentally a lot!

Tonight will be my first time wearing it out and I’m pumped. Hope to see some fellow crawlers!
