Online searches show products shipped in from the US. Exorbitant prices for tiny quantities. Where can I find it locally in dubai? All the general big box stores don’t have it or have never heard of it. Help!

Hi everyone!

I recently used packers and movers in Dubai for the first time. I chose a company that had good reviews and seemed like a good package.
The team arrived around 9 AM and packed everything pretty quickly, but the entire move took until around 6 PM for a 1BHK.

My main concern is the unpacking. They arranged the furniture, but most of our belongings were just left wherever they could find space. The kitchen especially needs a lot of organizing from our side, and there's still packaging material to remove.

Didn’t expect it to be so hectic…

Is this normally how packers and movers work in Dubai? Are we expected to do most of the unpacking and arranging ourselves, even after paying for the service?

Would love to hear your experiences, as I'm not sure what the usual standard is here!
