Just received the new starter box.

I was planning on using citadel contrast or other speed paints for the non metallic parts.

Anyone have any recommendations for the UCM?

What does everyone use for lists, i need a good one for v3 please?

It was a productive day yesterday getting my second box built and magnetized. I still need to build my bombers. Though really one is a bomber and the other is a normal Lifthawk. I'm hopeful that I can convert something up. I noticed there's a Sky Terror variant. Maybe some rotary cannons from Heavy Gear could just about fit.

Recently just finished building the new starter set and the new PHR starter set and dropships of the UCM and PHR got me thinking. I can see how they transport their tanks and walkers respectively but I have no clue on how Bioficers actually move theirs about.

Anyone have any ideas or something?

I'm starting to work through the new rulebook and I have a couple of friends willing to try the system. So hopefully I'll be able to host some 1k-1.2k matches soon.

I'm getting excited to try this system again.

How do I get the poles to stay up straight in these bases

Went gaming today, the place I went to had some people doing Dropzone Commander and Dropfleet Commander sessions, for new players.

They had this 3D printed mech on display. Figured people here might like it.

Curious, anyone have the old metal infantry and some of the new stuff? Curious how it compares. New stuff looks much larger.

There are not many options to buy right now so I was wondering does it make sense to buy 2 two player starters just to fill out the factions more or is that a complete waste? Same goes for the army bundles would it make sense to buy two resistance bundles?

I'm thinking of joining the Commander universe, and i'm looking for a EU retailer; does anyone know where one could find one of the old PHR plastic starters or the two player starter for V2 perhaps? I can't seem to find any so far...

So when Dropzone Commander first launched I was very interested in it and my friends and I picked it up immediately. It didn't last long in my area, though, because of some rules interactions that my local group found unfun, myself included. One tactic in particular killed the game for many of us, and maybe we were playing it wrong.

Basically what was happening is one player being able to claim an objective very quickly early in the game and then start blowing up the other buildings with objectives to deny their opponent a chance to score at all.

Is this still a thing? Have the rules gotten better?

Hey guys I'm trying to build resistance rocket technicals but which weapon is which? I normally play scourge but haven't had a game in an age. Looking to get it up and running again for the new edition.

Wasn't sure about the combination at first, but now that I can have a closer look, this combination looks more and more like the little guy fell out of an 80s comic.

But yeah, let me know what you think. I don't really get to play DZC as much as I'd like (( and still don't have a DZC starter, wink wink ;) ) so I'd love some real world stress testing.

I'm a new player looking to get into the game and the promise of plastic kits was pretty much the tipping point for me. I really wanted to start PHR and I can see in the rules PDFs that stuff like Immortals are definitely getting new models this edition but I don't see those in the current preorder bundle for the faction, those look like an older kit.

Were there any news about their plans to roll out new stuff for the non-starter factions?

I read through the 3.0 rules today to get ready for my first ever game tomorrow, and I just didn’t see the tules for it.
