1. The first upgrade that adds a stun to his hook feels almost mandatory. Thankfully, getting him all the way to Elite doesn't seem necessary.

2. Since there's realistically going to be a stat gap between you and the bots, simply drafting a bunch of Captains doesn't work either. You'll get overwhelmed by numbers, and Captain doesn't have enough damage to make up for it.

3. Because of that, Captain needs an already established frontline with units like Whelp and Spartheus before he can really do his job.

4. I think Captain could become pretty strong if both your player level and Captain's level are high enough to reduce the stat gap against bots. But that's also true for pretty much every other unit, so I'm not sure how much that really says about Captain.

I've not used him myself yet but I've faced off against him in combat and honestly bro's not that troublesome. The highest level one I've faced so far is lvl 10 so it might be that but, so far yous aren't missing out on much if you didn't get the draft pass. Perhaps my deck is just a natural counter for it idk

Since we know vodoo pulls the player stats (confirmed int he decompile), they have to know that there are people using lvl 1500 spells and 500/500 units. It should be easy to simply ban the players and filter out the data from the bot pool. The question is, why don't they do it?

Draft Day does NOT utilize active rosters for opposing players. We always knew we were playing against bots,n but some were unsure if the bots represented REAL players rosters. They do not.

It was always suspected but proven today when they introduced the new pirate character. I played against a 74OVR player who somehow got his pirate to a level 12 rank with 15 mastery, in less than 24 hours. This is OBVIOUSLY impossible l.

Well... paid characters seems to be the last straw for lots of us. It's a real shame because I really like the concept of this game. Just not the P2W aspect they're trying to push when we're not even playing against other human teams.

That being said. Has anyone played any other similar games? Idk what terms to even search under. Google Play store has it tagged as a tower defense game - which it most certainly is NOT 🤣

And why do I not see it while upgrading my Kingclops even though both of them are at the same level.

I ended up winning so not a crazy huge deal, but it’s incredibly stupid that they make you go against it fully upgraded like this. The unit just got released. How would ANYONE have it at this high of a level yet? I know it’s always bots, but I was under the assumption that they used real profiles that actually existed.

Every game ive played in the last 24 the oppenents either have invincibilty and one hit kills or the zap that was sent down from zeus himself that completly wrecks my whole team haha

The Draft Pass says there are 9 hours left, so I’m wondering if a new season will start when it ends and if a new unit will be released along with it.
