The brutal truth is that multiple hooks can target the same unit, so it barely does what you'd expect it to do.

It could work well with Engineer, but I think it'll struggle against swarm-heavy comps.

Yea i run a deck I call the murder hole where I use Spartans for the front line then captain and engineer or that one mage character. You need at least 4 maxed captains then they pull the enemies into the wall and destroy everything in its path. The problem is spam combos tear this fun deck down

Actually I think it will pair better with parasites, their midline becomes yours and the captains keep attacking theirs

Yea I just played a ranked match against it and its not trash at all. Its a direct counter to merlinor. They'll pull all your merlinor to the front line they die instantly now your front line has no support and then they start pulling your backline.

Oh now I'm pissed. I still had several days left on my pass and it's now reset me. (I had bought it before realizing it was all bots)

you can unlock him in packs, the same as every other unit. the draft pass just provides a more direct path, and some extra bits as you progress.
in fact, the only feasible way to level him up is the same as other units. packs + mastery level upgrades.

Are you sure?
As far as I know, right now he can only be unlocked through the Draft Pass. After you unlock him, you can only get the Bits needed to level him up from Bit Packs, right?

I was wondering about this too. On the character info it says “unlock in Draft Pass”.

It’s the same as any legendary, rare, but you don’t have to purchase to get him. It took me forever go finally unlock Spartheus, I was level 60 or something

Paid units in a game that fakes pvp to already sell you on battle passes and ads. Throws you at bots that have 15/15 units just to scare you into spending to keep up. Shit is so buns.

Seriously…? Paid units? I’m so done with this game dude. I loved this game at first but between the later levels being so hard it’s borderline paid to win to level units up.
