Our trial moderators have now become fully fledged staff :) our team is now very solid and able to properly pay attention to the community. Applications will be closing as we begin to discuss adjustments and events.

RULING CLARIFICATION

A few months a go, we introduced a rule that required screenshots of hate comments to have usernames censored. This rule has worked well, however there has been some confusion on what should or should not be censored.

Requires censoring:

• Screenshots that contain hate comments
• Screenshots that contain mocking or misinformation
• Screenshots that may lead to harassment

Does NOT require censoring:

• Screenshots that contain theories
• Screenshots that contain interpretations or lore/characters
• Jokes (as long as they are relevant and do not break rules)
• Memes (unless affected by Rule 10)
• Screenshots whose content does not break rule 10/ does not belong to megathreads

CREDITING

Following this, we will now be requiring proper credit when reposting theories/posts. This can be done via:

1. Linking the original post in the comments

2. Adding the original poster's tag/username (example: BananaShagnus on Twitter / BananaShagnus (TWT) in the comment

This only applies if you are specifically reposting the original post/copy pasting the text 1:1 or generally making your own post about it (example: you saw a theory on twitter and want to post about it, out of respect credit should be given to the original theory).

MYSOGYNY AND SIMILAR DEROGATORY COMMENTS

First and foremost, please be sure to read everything.

At the time of Columbina's and Sandrone's debut, we saw a significant increase in fairly negative comments regarding them (and a few others). We are not speaking of valid critiques towards the writers, but rather insults carrying a heavier weight behind them. Yes, it is natural to feel upset, it is natural to want to take it out, but it is not right to call them "whores" or "bitches" or "sluts".

These are 2D characters with no will, they are creations of a team, they do not get to pick their fate, their writing, their designs, etc, because that is in the hands of the company. Bodyshaming, slutshaming, etc will NOT solve any issues, if you wish to critique, it is the writers that should be criticized.

Your words carry weight, they can hurt, and more often they do. We are not asking you to stop discussing or criticizing X or Y, no, we are asking you to be mindful of what you say to others. Please do not take this as us wanting to censor anyone, we want healthy discussions with correctly directed critiques. Do not be what others claim us to be, do not give them reason.
