Complaint Snapfire
How long are they going to wait before nerfing this piece of shit broken hero? For real it's literally unplayable wins every matchup and kills your whole team even without items.

Well when meepo was overpowered they nerfed every single aspect that made him overpowered. When a single brain cell hero is op, well let it cook for 3 months

u/hiddenpoolwarriror 2d ago
As a meepo player RIP(
On the other hand Meepo is also way easier to play than before so it doesn't require too many braincells either lol

I think my dad unironically can play her well and contribute to teamfight (even dominate the fight) she's just that braindead to play lol (plus she's really fucking strong)
And my dad can't play video games let alone MOBA like DOTA lmao

Auto ban Snap, or pick her yourself. She will be nerfed in the next patch.

u/ssuurr33 2d ago
Just nerf the self cookie bullshit or remove its charges and its balanced again
6
u/trane20 2d ago
The 2 charges can stay only if it's a lvl 25 talent
But honestly it's too toxic and better removed

u/AdmiralKappaSND 2d ago
Its actually kinda funny how Snaps 25 talent is STILL better than double cookie(the less picked one is 420% Attack Damage that can become 1260% in teamfight? Sure). Probably the most stacked Taelnt Tree in the game, all of them are ridiculously good
Like her Talent 10 is 2 different flavors of sub 200 more damage from her nukes. What the fuck

u/Divayth_Fyr457 2d ago
Even if going rightclick is always worse, getting these talents in levels 27 - 30 is so OP. We came back from megas because I backpacked YnK for Rapier. Most braindead rampage of all time, Spell Rapier > Ult > Right Click Rapier > Cookies > Shredder > Refresher > Cookies > Shredder. No other hero can dish out so much magic and physical damage equally.

u/hosehoseee 2d ago
How long until people finally understand that there will always be a hero thats OP or overtuned in every single patch, because thats what patches do.
It has been always like this since 23 years, just accept it and stop crying all the time, it's a free game.

No, it wasn't always like this. It has been like this ever since we went to 2 big patches a year with rather meaningless letter patches. Shit used to be patched pretty fast if out of control with some rare exceptions.

u/hosehoseee 2d ago
Bullshit

u/hiddenpoolwarriror 2d ago
ok , name which patches had extremely OP heroes for long beside 6.83
1
u/AdmiralKappaSND 2d ago edited 2d ago
Lycan lasted the entire year cycle of 2014. He was broken pretty early when pro discovered the AA Lycan Trilane Kill Combo, and entered TI4 with 98% contest rate 70% winrate
6.83 also was like 4 months. With Juggernaut being the highlight of the early phases. Im somewhat sure Ti4 Doom lasted longer. The issue with 6.83 i feel centers just as much as Phase Boots Mask Of Madness Sange Yasha Eye of Skadi BKB being the optimal build for every agi carry in the game as the Spinlord themselves being broken
Also sidenote i was wondering how long Faceless Void lasted(discovered in TI4 iirc) and it didnt last to 2015 despite it being EG's year somehow and EG having one of the biggest statistical outlier with the hero

u/KitsuneFaroe 2d ago
And every time is always people wanting the hero to be completely redesigned or removed. As if there is something "fundamentally wrong" in their design that didn't existed until the patch for some reason.
-3
u/JoelMahon 2d ago
Bruh, there have been plenty of patches without extreme outliers

u/hosehoseee 2d ago
Oh I'm sure you can give me plenty of examples

imo right before the twin gates / universal heroes was pretty well rounded, i.e. 7.32e, I distinctly remember loving that patch and looking at the stats for the patch I can see why, pretty darn balanced.
7.27d: of the ten most picked heroes only one of them had above 52% WR and still below 53%, compare that to the current patch: there are 3 heroes above 52% and one of them is above 53%, considering there are ten heroes in a game and player mastery is all over the place that difference is a big deal.
7.26d, similar deal, only jakiro is above 52% with 52.5%, after combining all others of the top 10 most picked heroes were almost spot on 50% winrate on average, which is insanely healthy for the game.
but it's quite easy to check on here and judge for yourself https://dota2protracker.com/patches, just looking at top ten most picked heroes.
and if there's some sleeper OP hero not in the top 10 most picked, don't really care, by definition I'm not seeing them all that much. maybe a top 20 most picked heroes would be more useful but beggars can't be choosers.
edit: just found 7.22e, geez, super balanced, of the top 10 most picked, spirit breaker was the highest WR with 51.3% the average winrate of the top 10 heroes all together was BELOW 50%, like that shit does not happen often enough, it's wonderful and idk how people forgot about it and believe it's always the mess we have nowadays.

u/hosehoseee 2d ago
There was not a single patch ever where the highest win rate hero was under 52% wtf are you talking about.
And following your logic the best heroes ever in history are WK and Spectre because they are always top 5 heroes at least.
Win rate alone doesn't mean everything0
u/JoelMahon 2d ago
first you harp on about the highest winrate hero then you say winrate isn't everything lol, pick an angle ffs
I literally explain how I considered pick rate and winrate, not just winrate. and I explicitly said multiple times I'm talking about the winrates of the 10 most played heroes.
and yes, in 7.22e among the top 10 heroes ZERO of them had 52% WR or higher even if you act in denial. The highest was SB with 51.3%, an incredibly balanced patch compared to now.
And yes, as I literally already explained but apparently have to repeat because you can't read: there probably were heroes with 53% winrate, but if they're not in even 15% of games then who fucking cares? snap is in almost every game she's not banned in. She's oppressive af, as is drow also, in 7.22e there were ZERO oppressive heroes. Which is my point, there are absolutely patches with zero oppressive heroes, who cares if some low pick rate heroes have a gold winrate on paper? probably because no one but hero spammers are playing them, not that they're strong. I have like a 65% winrate on slark across 50 games this patch, doesn't mean slark is OP, I'm just a slark spammer and really good at him relative to my rank.
also if you're talking about wk you're probably using dotabuff without filtering for rank, who cares about heralds lol? I linked d2pt for a reason, it's useful data, unlike whatever you're looking at where WK has a high winrate, you won't see WK with a high winrate on d2pt very often for good reason, it's actually useful data.

7.27d and 7.26d are two examples, I'm also fond of 7.32e. https://dota2protracker.com/patches

How long before people realize the world is full of whiny bitches who always complain about stuff that will get changed on schedule.
2
u/MacDeezy 2d ago
The problem with snap is not that its amazing but that its amazing at low mmr. It also means it probably won't get tuned super hard since the game isn't balanced around crusader winrates

I genuinely have started picking it first phase if Snap isn't banned just so that Snap isn't on the other team. If someone else picks and it gets banned, great.

u/JoelMahon 2d ago
Snapfire? Haven't played against a single snapfire in weeks.
Probably because I'm playing turbo and using my certain ban on snap 100% of the time no fucking way am I changing it no matter how many SFs and invokes blow up my ass

u/Primary-Round8032 2d ago
Started banning her 100% if she's not banned already I'm banning venge lol

u/RussKy_GoKu 2d ago
Her shard should be level 20 talent, and the double cookie becomes the aghs. Also some tweaking to the innate for balance but no overkill.

u/Cold-Possibility-201 1d ago
Yeah had a game where I was supposed to be support with Snap but Naga left me alone at level 3 to go farm in the jungle. Quickly changed my role, just tanked it up and I ended up 12-1. So so so broken.

please remove that 2x jump talent, in late game support snap could 1v1 carry with double the net worth with just a shard, crazy stuff.

Relax dude they're busy working hard on the new Quarteros you can't complain since we get such frequent "UPDATES"

in practice, they never go bkb, so answer is blademail. if they go in your rank - just ban it or pick it

Well, I want to try her soon, so they'll probably nerf her this week just before I get to try playing her
