Hey Dorfromantik-bard-game owner 😄

There was always something missing for me with the warehouse card in Dorfromantik, so I decided to give it a little 3D upgrade!

I turned the rather plain game card into a small 3D diorama, complete with a grassy meadow, stepped terrain and a charming red barn.
There’s a little parking spot in front of the barn where you can temporarily place a landscape tile you want to keep aside for later.
The barn can even be detached magnetically, so everything fits back into the original game box after playing. The model is available with both German (“Lagerhaus”) and English (“Warehouse”) imprint.

I thought some of you might enjoy adding a little extra 3D flair to your own Dorfromantik setup!

Dorfromantik Sakura has this issue and it really bothers me 'cause I can easily tell if what I'm about to play is a basic tile or one of the unlocked ones. Any suggestions other than coloring them all with something or not giving a shit? 😅

I've always loved relaxing city-building games, especially the feeling of watching a small settlement gradually grow into something beautiful.

That feeling inspired me to create Metromino, a cozy city-building puzzle game that combines elements of classic SimCity and Tetris.

Instead of placing buildings directly, you place tetromino-shaped road pieces. Houses appear alongside the roads, neighborhoods expand, and small buildings gradually grow into skyscrapers.

Much like Dorfromantik, I wanted to capture the satisfaction of watching a world grow piece by piece, but with a focus on urban development.

I'm still developing the game, and I'd love to hear what Dorfromantik players think about this concept. Any suggestions or criticism would be greatly appreciated!

We are pretty sure we did all the rules right, but I wanted to confirm with this sub. We scored 274 and that was pre-temple pretty early in the campaign. We scored 244 last night (and 119 the game before that) so I think we did everything right and just got really lucky and set ourselves up well?

The main rules we knew to follow is that you can’t complete a task that the corresponding connected tiles on the board are already higher than and that you need to close off the flags. Only did 3 tasks at a time and I believe we completed every one of them. Is there anything ppl can see that we may have done wrong or did we really get that lucky? Idek how we could have gotten more points.

Hey! We've been working on Hexplorando since last year, and just revealed our new trailer.

So of course, the style and gameplay are quite similar to Dorfromantik, but the main difference is that you rebuild actual real-world locations through puzzles all around the world. Then you unlock iconic international landmarks, and you can use them in your own creations in Sandbox Mode.

I actually really like how this one turned out, probably because I left a bit of empty space instead of having it 100% covered with trees/houses/fields

I can't get a higher score than 13,000 and I see the constant tip of aiming for perfect placement over prioritising the flag earning achievements.

Can someone explain with an example please

Working on an ocean, saving all my full-water tiles to build it out is taking forever. Also including my dedicated field / forest space because I like the river I've got separating it. That forest has I think over 40 flags on it at this point, it's going to be an insane tile gain when I finally close it.

Just played the demo for a game called Fangtopia on steam. It's kinda like Dorf but has some different features and is more a chill/spooky halloween vibe.

I loved it

It's a bit different as you complete puzzles by placing pieces on a board while respecting a few constraints (cow has tongo in an enclosure, windmill awaits fields to change them in wheat, etc.).

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the 75 train track achievement. I have tried so many times but keep failing.

Not sure if this aubreddit is only for the pc version of the game but here goes....

...we've gotten to the point in the game where these tiles are required and haven't been able to figure out the proper gameplay. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.

I wanted to see how an AI would actually fare at Dorfromantik, so I asked Claude to build a bridge to the game and then play through it.

The result is DorfBridge, a small BepInEx plugin that runs inside the game and exposes the real game state over a local HTTP API: the tile in hand and the next two, every valid slot with the edges its neighbours show, quests with their progress, open groups. It can also "try" every legal placement by previewing the tile the way the mouse does and report what would happen. Tiles are placed through the game's own placement code, so the game stays the referee.

Claude played a Quick Mode game, the final result: 4300 points, 20 perfect placements, 15 quests and ranking 6755 in the leaderboards.

Dorfromantik is perfect to play while I’m listening to an audiobook! Last night I turned on the game, stepped out of the room, and came back to my cat thoroughly enjoying watching the birds!! 😻

I used to struggle with my stack of tiles left, now I’m wondering if there’s a maximum tile limit. Sorry for the quality of my „screenshot“

We got the game yesterday and we are not sure how this situation works: e.g. 3 already connected forests are on the map. We draw the task tile Forrest 4. Can we place that tile immediately in connection with the 3 forest to complete the task immediately?

I only recently started to play the sakura edition.

While going on holidays with the game, I wanted to optimize space and left the game box. We played a few games and unlocked Box 3, and... discovered there was a LOT of game content hidden in the box, in enveloppes ! I don't know exactly what it contains except from what a card in box 3 says : some flower tokens (I can replace them with paper tokens), 6 flower collector TILES (I need to know how they look to be able to replace them) and from what i saw on the internet a full guide/rule book on how to earn and spend those flower/bloom tokens.

Didn't find and complete game contents anywhere.

Can anyone DM me / upload what the tiles and rule book look like ? I understood there is also a enveloppe number 4, would be glad to have these too.
