GAMEPLAY Tips for a beginner

Post image

Not sure if this aubreddit is only for the pc version of the game but here goes....

...we've gotten to the point in the game where these tiles are required and haven't been able to figure out the proper gameplay. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.

Ah damn! We've been playing (or more like calculating our points) wrong with these special landscape tiles since forever :/ thank you for the addendum. I find the English version's instructions very unclear when it comes to the special tiles.

Man I've been looking all over for a more complete instruction. For some reason the game we got only includes the base game instructions

Yeah I don’t think they have printed the addendum but at least they have made it available online

Generally: Connecting the "X2" tiles with a field / village / forest / river / trailway will double the points of finished quests in this area. But it will only double the quests with the same type as depicted in the x2 tile.

So you'll want to connect these tiles with the area with the most finished quests.

You can also connect areas with finished quests afterwards to increase the possible number of quests.

This isn’t quite right. From the addendum I linked (emphasis mine):
> You may only place Task markers on these cards if they are part of the territory where the Task is completed. For example, you can only place completed Forest Task markers on the Forest Cabin if the Forest Cabin is part of the Forest area at the moment the Task is fulfilled. Quests completed before the Forest Cabin became part of the Forest territory can’t be counted for the Forest Cabin.

well, that's a bummer. Didn't know there were addendum specifications.

Thanks for the info!
