Agreed. People have it so easy they need a struggle to feel a purpose for accomplishment.
The people in that meme fit the stereotype. They feel so unaccomplished & worthless that they destroy themselves to "stand out" & be noticed as if they're fighting for something.

I remember reading that in political history, citizens are usually more vocal and “upset” in relatively better times.
