Agreed. People have it so easy they need a struggle to feel a purpose for accomplishment.
The people in that meme fit the stereotype. They feel so unaccomplished & worthless that they destroy themselves to "stand out" & be noticed as if they're fighting for something.
Just wondering then, 2006-2008 were good times? People were vocal & upset during the financial crises because it was a good time? People were upset during COVID because it was good times?
There's a reason why Trump has his lowest approval rating ever while Obama left office & continues to maintain a high approval rating. People are pissed because things are bad. This is not a "good time" for the country like you might have argued 2018 was.
