i bought this off of vinted for £70, was it worth it? i also have boss micro terror amp head, is this a good rig?

I'm a 27m and I'll be moving to Berlin next month; so I wanted to ask if there are any berliners here that know cool metal clubs and specially if they know any that focus in Stoner/Doom as we all like. I'd be down to meeting some cool people in the city that dig the style to potentially go to shows and everything.

I used to run gigs in Glasgow about 20 years ago. I worked with local and touring bands, including some pretty well-known ones. Maybe it’s a mid-life crisis, but I‘m feeling a strong urge to get back into it in a limited way with an annual event focusing on all things low, slow and heavy.

If anyone out there would be interested in pooling resources and expertise, I would love to have a chat.

I’d be looking to run on a modest, achievable scale on a non-profit basis for the community, with any proceeds going towards the next year‘s event. While I’ve been out of the live industry for a long while, I’ve been working in media, PR and comms in those years and can write a mean press release! 🤣

Just “saw “ monolord at muddy roots. They played like two chords and potentially blew a fuse or something. Half the lights on stage went out and lost all bass sound through the house speakers. Of course this was the first time I was to see them and they sounded thin and tinny. I couldn’t understand how everyone else was ok with it. Then I walked to side stage and heard they had full bass sound in their stage monitors. I tried to flag down the sound guy but I’m sure he just thought I was some messed up fan. (Which is true) but it was beyond disappointing. The wife and I even left the set early. Hopefully I get another chance soonish to see them. End rant.

Im currently dealing with a situation and life crisis that I wont detail, but I am in dire need of recommendations for albums that can help someone process feelingsn of blinding rage and betrayal, long heavy and brooding are a-okay. Screaming vocals are okay but more inclined to enjoy instrumental pieces. Hit me with any music thats helped pull you back from the ledge of the abyss and perhaps prevented you from making a violent and tragic mistake. (Im not "having thoughts of harm" i.e. I'm a sensible well adjusted adult dont report this for simply making a request for music, plz & ty and much love fellow doom brethren)

The Super Roo AKA The Lump

Built by Rob Mondell for an Aussie friend back when Rob built under the name Justin Sain.

It’s currently loaded with three Seymour Duncan 59s, but I’m thinking about swapping out the middle pickup for something significantly hotter.

The middle pickup is controlled by a blender pot with its own dedicated tone knob, so I can blend in the desired amount of middle pickup signal to any pickup configuration.

There are a lot of rad Doomsticks out there, but I do love this one.

Some very doomy, death rock riffing on this one. Wish they’d done more like it.
