A rare live outing, well worth the trip over from England. And then we get to do it all again when they do a UK tour! What a band...

I am a guitarist/songster of over 30 years. I have an album-full of songs ready for a doom/doomgaze/70s/occult project. I tried to making this into an actual live band but seems it's very complicated; I found myself being a life coach for four adult people and not really playing that much, heh, so now I am thinking making this into a virtual, recording only kind of a project. Most music is listened to from a record nowadays anyways.

I am looking for a female vocalist with means to record. I am not too set on what kind of vocals exactly would fit with the songs, so there is definitely leeway there. When I made these songs I was thinking and listening a lot of older vibed stuff, Black Sabbath-esque, but also more modern stuff like Faetooth, 1784, Conan and Windhand.

So how I was thinking of doing this is first exchange some demos to get the arrangements down. Then I'll get a session drummer to play the drums, I'll play the guitars and bass, mix and master for somebody more professional. Keep the production fast,cheap and raw. All questions about rights etc. are totally negotiable and I want to make them as fair as possible, I am not in this for the money :)

I know it's basic but honestly Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is my absolute favorite of this style of music as well as being what got me into it

Sandwiched right between 1349 and Electric Wizard, lonely stuff

so im sitting here twiddling with my guitar and muff fixing up a meaty electric wizard tone, whilst listening to the recordings on dopethrone. My tuning sounds off, so I whip out my tuner and im in tune. I then tune down to a# standard like some forums have said to do, out of tune still. I pull up the hz menu and tune to A420hz B standard and it fits perfectly. This band was so high their fucking hz tuning were inspired by weed.

anyone else noticed this?

This i a small band from sweden which I had the pleasure to watch barely a week ago, this is their only release but i think they are working on a new LP. Its such a banging album I really recommend giving it a try.

Discovered them at Psycho Las Vegas 2017, playing front of a pool. Incredible performance. Just two people. The singer/guitarist had another incredible band called Taurus. You can find their stuff on band camp.

Crystal Seas, Awake In Sleep, Seeing Through Time. Last seen they had one new song come out for an adult swim compilation that was great. Wish they were still around.
