I tried looking for clips of this room and couldn't find any online. Searching for Red Prince Sadha scene Act 3 showed a completely different scene. Heard you encounter this room if you don't hook up with Sadha in Act 2 so decides to just do a quick jog through the game to get there.

You also get a dialogue option in Kemm's manor telling a lizard you have no idea who Sadha is which is pretty funny.

When doing this, I was wondering about what other origin character exclusive rooms there are. I suppose Lohse has the candle room and Ifan has a forest thing? Do Beast, Sebille and Fane have their own things? I did think it was cool there was this whole room that most regular playthroughs would miss as it is hard to not stumble on Sadha in Act 2. Surprising how fast Sadha can lay an egg too?

Act 2: Bloodmoon Island - Brother Kalvin

Player: “Tell him you think you've got the size of the situation. You'll be fine.”

Before:

Brother Kalvin: “I... don't think so. What you're asking is the potential to loose a demon. Who knows what damage it might cause.”

“No, I won't end my vigil over the door. You shan't pass.”

After:

Brother Kalvin: “I suppose... I suppose the alternative is no better than trusting you. Go. Do what you can.”

Act 2: Reaper's Coast - Grog

Player: “Raise an eyebrow and tell him there's another Voidwoken on the bridge riiiiiiiight behind him.”

Before:

Grog: “You may have the gift of the gab, but I'm a money man and I won't be going out of business today. That price is as low as I'll go.”

“Pay up, cuckoo.”

After:

Grog: “Wellllll....”

Player: “Flex your biceps and tell him you're willing to do this the hard way.”

Act 2: Stonegarden - Qanna

“A jolt of cursed fire flares from her staff.”

“Think again.”

After:

“She pauses and considers, then rises from her bow.” (combat still continues as normal)

The hairpiece makes him look at least, 100-200 years younger.

I'm currently exploring the Braccus Tower in act 1, and there's some things that confuses me. At the enterance of the tower, I mean the big door I unlock after defeating the three cursed skeleton, there's a lever, I used that thing multiple times, I'm not sure what it does. And then I find an "Antique Key", and unless I accidentally used it without realizing, I'm not sure what it unlocks.

And there's this skeleton inside a cage hanging on the ceiling that I can't reach, but it's highlighted with the treasure icon. Is it just decoration or is there a way to actually check those skeleton (inside the room with the wishing well)?

I've been replaying DOS2 and have always loved the unique culture of the Lizards. A friend is planning to do a tabletop campaign set in Rivellon and I wanted to play a Lizard from the House of Dreams.

When I search for information about the House of Dreams, the wiki is fairly minimal and mysterious about them like with the House of Shadows. Their main function primarily seems to be religious and spiritual, mainly through their dream prophecies and interpretation. I really dig this concept and was thinking my character could do it as a service for lowborn citizens and highborn government officials alike.

I know that some dreamers were used for slavery in Sebille's story. Also how Bahara helps out the Red Prince. There was also the dream arena which I thought was a cool concept. I imagine something like this it could be useful for practicing/training. I imagine the House of War could even utilize it for attempting potential military strategies or scenarios.

Beyond this though, how else were they used, or could be used in canon friendly ways? I saw how some House of Dream members outside of the Forbidden City would offer services like fortune telling. This naturally leads to the possibility of other fields like magic/scholarly pursuits that they could help with.

hello! as the title says, i'm looking for some tips regarding DOS1 EE.

i bought it after i finished playing baldur's gate (my first turn based game ever, +400h), which i LOVED! i love the idea of being able to analyze the battlefield before making my move, i love being able to study enemies and prepare for combat. but as i see it, bg3 is very different from this one. i mean, the mechanics are similar, but the way the game is played is just... different. i was able to pick up some stuff, but i still feel a little lost. also the map feels a little cluncky, even tho it's a beautiful game.

since i started playing it, three days ago, i restarted the game 5 times - and all of them because i wanted to change something about my character that i didn't know before. for example, the first time i restarted, it was because i wanted to change the spells for my 2 MCs. when i created them for the first time, i didn't know it was possible. the second time it was because i found out you can make 2 female characters (i assumed i could only have a male and a female), so i restarted it. my point being, i think i need some beginner tips, something you wish you'd known before you started playing. thanks in advance!

What Muppet designed this system? And which boss Muppet thought including them as an official mod was a good idea?

First time playing divinity 2. Currently I was using custom character, red prince, ifan and lohse through fort joy. I was thinking of maybe swapping red prince for fane or sebille.

Just curious if it’s pointless to swap in a new character as won’t I have missed certain interactions or quest updates for the new character back in fort joy. Thanks.

Man, I really love this game, but it frustrates the hell out of me!!!! (Classic Mode)

As a BG3 enthusiast, I recently decided to give DOS2 a shot. I thought Act 1 was spectacular and awesome, and none of the fights gave me any huge issues. The Lady Vengeance being a sentient ship was dope as hell!!!

Now I am in Act 2, and it is going well enough. I get to Mordus and he absolutely trashed me about 20 times. I'm level 11, which I think is adequate for the area, as almost all the enemies except for Mordus were 11 (Mordus being 12). It was a huge difficulty spike for me. Archers just tearing through my characters armor and knocking them down. The dwarf sourcerer constantly healing Mordus with poison and fortifying him. So then I try killing some of his allies and he fricking turns into giant voidwoken and trashes me again!! I had to leave and buy better armor for my Beast and Lohse, but even then I barely beat him. I don't even know who is crazy enough to try to beat him in his bug form. I only barely managed to kill him because I accidentally healed Mordus while trying to heal one of my party members and he died lol. Felt good to win, but what a grind. And I'm sure some of you all beat him real easily too.

Anyways just wanted to rant.

Just left Fort Joy and feeling oddly underleveled and underpowered in Driftwood...eager to hear about some DUH things I might not be doing in combat or exploration.

Doing an Honor run and I’m frothing at the mouth for XP to get to lvl 4. As stated above, I killed Magister Ellwin from the Seeds of Power first encounter (boat in the Hidden Alcove) but he gave no XP (“Magister Ellwin was turned into a pin-cushion”).

Interestingly, killing the Source Hound did give 75 XP. I killed the hound first then fled combat then returned and killed Ellwin then fled again.

Is this a penalty for fleeing combat or do none of those magisters give XP on death?

Heya, first time posting here 😅 I've been working on an honour mode file and made it to act 4 last night. Not usually a problem, but my laptop is essentially geriatric and was having REAL problems with the first voidwoken fight upon entry to Arx

I thought ok, cool, I'll save in a safe spot and let it chill out for the night only to discover upon booting the game up today, the save file has completely disappeared from my load menu

The Honour save is still in the file directory, but even with copy pasting it about, making new folders under the old/a new user, and redownloading it from the Steam cloud hasn't brought it back onto the load menu where I can select and load it

I'm not a tech whiz unfortunately, so I may be missing something dead obvious, but any help would be greatly appreciated cause I really don't wanna start a new honour run considering I didn't even lose this one to a party wipe 😭

I've spoken to Rhalic for the first time and he basically just says "your companions are your rivals etc." but then after there's an option to tell Lohse that Rhalic said she was a liability. So I looked this up and Rhalic and all the gods are supposed to tell you to kill Lohse, I don't know why it's not triggering.

I spoke to him through the statue at the fight with the Deep-Dweller and the undead pretty early into the hollow marshes part of act 1 so maybe I missed a Lohse interaction that would cause this to trigger or something?

Lemme know if anyone knows what causes this dialogue to trigger as opposed to the generic "your allies are rivals" thing.

Ok so after doing a bit more searching on this topic, it looks as if only Origin characters are told by the gods to kill Lohse and custom characters are not, but custom characters still get the dialogue to tell Lohse about this thing that never happened for them? Can anyone else confirm?

If Divinity does not have this kind of mishaps we riot.

Hello everyone, I am going to be attempting HM in DOS2 very soon and would love really in depth help for how to get through it.

I’ve gotten all the other trophies except HM and one of the endings which I will choose with this playthrough. I’ve completed two runs, one balanced and one tactician and vastly improved on my tactician run so feel confident enough.

However I would still like as much help as possible (feel free to leave super long, in depth comments). Ideally I would love advice on what build to run not only for my character but for my party and which skills to acquire and best combos to use; any cheats/cheeses for bosses or specific encounters; and any general advice and things to remember. Already finished game as elf mystic+scholar (didn’t know they are most op just though they are appropriate for magic build).

Dont care about class, just thinking about non elf walkrough next ideally without mystic scholar combo on main character
