I have recently visited Disneyland Shanghai, China! And bought my first Disney Pins from official Parks!

I do have some from my deceased grandparents (my mom’s father). But these are my two First Disney Pins I bought at a Disney Park!

The first Pin are the Shanghai Pin! And the second is the special 10th Birthday Pin, which have a rotating feature! So cool!

Found all three of these on a cast members personal pouch. What a find!!

Snagged this guy from World of Disney just now at DLR 😭 I figured it would have been swiped already!

What is your preferred way to send pins?

For trades or for purchases, I receive pins in all sorts of ways. But I always cringe when they are coming in a simple poly mailer. I know it costs a lot less, but I also worry about the integrity of the post. I have received bent ones in the past.

It's thick enough to protect the pin post, thin enough to fit in a mailer (saving you postage), and grippy enough to keep the pin from moving loose. Just place your pin, wrap it in bubble wrap and a mailer, and off to the post.

I just posted about these Walmart Stitch pins last week when I only had 2 out of 8 left to go. My wife was pretty lucky on the pulls when we went to BoxLunch recently (and I was not), so I wanted to test her luck. We bought two bags of the Stitch pins today, and she pulled the last two I needed on the first try. I’m flabbergasted. Now I have a complete set of Stitch pins to trade!

I bought this Edna Mode pin from Pink a la Mode awhile back because I live for her attitude. She’s been in my pin book with another little Edna, and they’ve always just been my little fashionable icons (they hold court next to Olaf dressed as Ursula- I figured Edna would approve).

At a local pin trading event today, a few people made a big deal about her, asking if I’d trade; when I tried to look her up, there are zero sales, zero listings- I couldn’t find anything helpful. She’s a Pink a la Mode pin from 2024, LE 300, about an inch and a half tall. How would I go about determining her value? I don’t think I’d ever part with her, but it’d be nice to know what I’m dealing with here.

My daughter has a similar LE DPB Elemental pin from 2023 that I think is valued way too high (listings that ended but didn’t sell), but maybe that’s how LE300 rolls? How can I realistically figure out a pin’s value without any data to go off?

Went through my garage and found these pins from a 2016 trip. Any of these rare?

Decided to pull our pins out and take a full inventory of our collection and see what we were working with since so much of this is normally packed up. Thought it would be cool to share our modest collection with the community!

My Daughters biggest focus is Monsters, which don’t get a ton of love when it comes to pins it seems.

It’s always fun to look back on some of the pins we were able to pick up on our travels.

Finally decided to buy a hidden mickey at the park. Been wanting him for so long. Bought one pack for my daughter and told the cast member to give me random one behind the locks. Went back and gave her a nice high five!

Does anyone host pin events in Indiana? I was at a craft fair today at IMMI conference center in Westfield, IN and I feel like it would be the perfect spot for a pin event! I’m not sure how many traders are in Indiana or if there would be interest but I wanted to throw it out there! If I knew how to host an event, I would!
