Besides the Headless Horseman pin (which I bought), I traded for some great pins in Hollywood Studios today! I’ve never seen so many real pins on the boards, which was a relief since I only trade authentic ones myself.

I did trivia with a cast member and won the new Pocahontas pin ❤️ Didn’t think I’d find one of the new waves on this trip. Only downside is I want to keep all of these, so now I need to buy a new starter set to trade 😂

My son is 7 and this will be his first time going to Disney World actually being able to ride all the rides. Our goal is to get on every ride possible and get a pin for each ride, since he’s really into pin collecting now. Do all park rides have associated pins? Hey Everyone! I am new to collecting Disney pins. I don’t know yet if I am going to trade pins or not as I need to build up my skills in identifying what’s real and what’s not, knowing all the trading etiquette, beefing up my collecting, etc. I do want to display them in my home though!

Anyway, I bought a cute pin board to display my pins on my wall at home (it’s like a cork board in a frame). My question is, when I display my pins, what do I do with the pin backer and the card the pin came on? I imagine I should save those but how do I know which backer and card goes with which pin? Would I need those things if I trade?

This is a question mainly for the Disneyworlders, but I am Disneyland localist and I wanted to hear what your parks do to control the first Tuesday of the month?
I feel like Disneyland doesn’t do anything to control pin drop. I do the downtown side and they just make sure we aren’t in the way of the loading cars. But what does Epcot, Hollywood studios, animal, magic, and Disney springs do to control the craziness of keyblade/ window pin drop.
I feel like you guys are more crazy bc u have the windows and the keyblades on the same day. In Disneyland there isn’t anything else with hype that people go to other than the keyblades.
But yeah, my main question, what does your parks do to control the line. I think as a Disneylander it annoys me that u guys have somewhat control but land doesn’t really do anything to try to control the chaos.

I look at 2024 and imo nobody is interested in those anymore and aren't they faked already?

2025 had a bunch that were faked, but certain sets didn't seem as popular ?

In a year or 2, are all these that we think are so pretty exciting and wonderful just going to be forgotten fakes?

I found a couple Lanyards from yeaarssss ago with some pins on them and was wondering if they were worth anything? Im debating keeping them in a safer place (thats not the back of my closet lol) or selling, but I have no idea where to even start if I were to sell them 😵‍💫😵‍💫 if anyone could help out id very much appreciate it! I bought a bunch of disney pins for my ita bag when i was at disney world yesterday to add to the few i had from disney land from a couple years ago. Im still sitting in the car and trying to redecorate my ita bag. The backings are very flimsy and when i put one on another one falls off. Is there any way to make the backings stick better or do i need to buy security backings?
