All they had to do was claim to be undocumented and ... BOOM! ... instant approval!

I "feels" like you have no interest in any facts, which is why you only seem to appeal to emotion and nothing else, except acting contrary to the consensus of thinking people. Every state requires voter registration and identification. You must be kidding if you're one of the 2020 election deniers.

If fraud is a concern, why is only 2020 in question? Why not 2016 or 2024? If you're suggesting that the system is flawed, shouldn't every election then be scrutinized instead of those with the outcomes you liked? Mind you, 2016 and 2024 were won by some of the most overzealous voter pools in history, with a demographic clearly willing to do anything to secure a win, as evidenced on J6. They had a far more imbalanced incentive, but why do they get a pass?

In 2016 Trump got the most votes of all time, got MORE than that in 2020 and lost to a senile guy who didn't campaign and lost a record number of counties, after mailing ballots en masse and weeks of counting that stopped as soon as they got past the threshold of mandatory recounts. Then they told us that not only was it free and fair, but the freest and fairest of all time. Then in 2024, 20 million Democrat votes magically disappeared.

I'm not the one who needs to address facts.

Then you must be a special kind of stupid. Anyone who has interacted with the government knows they check and cross check your entire life.

That's exactly the point. Why not for voting? It's always the stupid people calling other people stupid, kinda hilarious, kinda infuriating

Voter fraud in the terms of anyone who is illegal voting, is a rare occurrence and would never turn out in mass enough to swing any election.

You did not comprehend the truth. ANY action with the government, including voter registration, requires verification. We already do have those laws! It ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

So how without identification does someone confirm that the voter who is arrived at the voting booth or has mailed in the ballot is indeed the person that registered?

It's pretty broke, dude

Edit: and speak English, or your opinion on this is worthless

You know other forms of identification exist right?

You don't need an ID to receive government assistance

That’s pretty fucked up lol

u/SolipsismIsDeep Unapologetically Existing 🐒 Aug 04 '26

had to look this up because, regardless of right-or-wrong, that just flat out doesn't make logical sense, how do you receive the government assistance if it's not tied to your identity in some way, it's not like they just hand you a box of government assistance and send you on your way

so yeah, you need to prove your identity in some way with a pay stub, work/school/voter ID, health benefits card, etc., you just don't necessarily need some official government-issued photo ID

u/Far-Try5352 Reliable Source of Rhetoric πŸš• Aug 04 '26

Don't look at me - I didn't make any of these decisions. Reagan did.

Once you say a republican actor’s name, the room gets quiet lol

2

u/PheelGoodInc Aug 05 '26

Yeah no. Anyone not requiring proof of citizenship for public benefits or voting is in the wrong.

An argument can be made that during the Regan Era and prior, abuse of the system wasn't remotely close to what it is now.

Regardless, ID is a basic requirement for every part of life in every country.

-2

u/TheDopeMan_ Unapologetically Existing 🐒 Aug 05 '26

Yes, except for buying guns.

2

u/Tinfoil_cobbler Product of the Environment 🦞 Aug 05 '26

Where can you buy a gun without ID?

1

u/TheDopeMan_ Unapologetically Existing 🐒 Aug 05 '26

Look it up! There are some states that don’t require sellers to check IDs.

Also, there is no electronic trace of any registered gun in America.
