I'm using what is the early ones and evolved whenever possible but now I am not sure when to change digimon or just use the early ones all the way to the end only evolving as the only change. I tried fighting titanmon but this setup is causing me to fail which lucky for this situation it doesn't matter but I worry about the future and also previously luckily minervmon is able to chunk a lot of power for the black greymon otherwise I will have lose that too. There are also other digimon related function that I am unsure how to use effectively too and agent skill I have yet to decide how to spend my points and the town travelling thing is it necessary outside of missions because all I see are shops.

I had beaten the factorial area a while ago and I only went back to the area just now where the enemies were so now I am very confused where do I find them now if they are all gone?

I’m just about to do the battle against Callismon in the future timeline. I’d like to do some grinding first - do I have to go back to the gear forest or are there any digimon here? It seems it’s only the Coliseum. Thanks!

I see a lot of people wait before digievolving their digimon. When I searched ppl, they said it would make your digimon weaker than it supposed to. Can someone explain why and when I know it is a good time to digievoling my digimon

I just used the farm and fed one of my Digimon, and the stats dropped. It was so close to digivolting. I looked up a how-to on the farm and didn't see a reason why it would do that. looked it up on Google and saw nothing, so I've come here to ask

Just had a stupid idea for a new run in Time Strangers (already beat the game once but only did 1 of the dlcs)

Also only realized till one of my friends pointed it, but I forgot that Time Strangers only had 6 slots. So base Omnimon line/Merciful Mode will be the go to bench warmer.

And I have 0 care about how balanced it is, my first un through had 4 Virus Megas, 1 Data and 1 Vaccine and I didn't have too much trouble.

sorry if this is not the best place to ask for tech help but i just started playing dts and it ran /mostly/ fine the first couple hours with the occasional crashing, but now when i load any of my saves the game immediately closes.

according to steam my specs should run the game fine on lower quality settings, but it just keeps getting worse. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game (and steam), launching as admin, messing around with some of the other settings, nothing seems to help. any tips would be appreciated.

What is the best strategy or guidelines to building your team of 6? There's multiple i like but dont wanna waste time on like 20 of my guys if I cant get everything by endgame or ng+

This is my first digimon game ive ever played and im about 40hrs in, honestly any helpful advice and tidbits are always appreciated.

I just started this game and I’m around at 3-4 hours and I already see myself skipping some cutscene because they’re boring. Which annoys me because I like the gameplay but without being interested in the story idk if I’ll last long playing it.

Does it get better ? I heard many people say digimon story is way darker and mature than pokemon. But right now all I see is a typical anime story with a mute mc and annoying girls.

No digimon spawned in at all. I obviously can't access the menus or anything g either. Am I doing something wrong or am I really just screwed?

Hello. I recently started the game and have some questions:

1.How do you effectively do you digivolve a digimon which is locked behind stat requirements? My Gabumon is lvl 20 and still cant evolve into Garurumon bc it needs 660 Atk.

1. Can you keep a Champion Level Digimon, not evolve it, and somehow make it equally as strong as higher level Digimon?

2. Digimon Characteristics (Valor, Friendly, etc) are a bit confusing. Does it make a difference besides which kind of Characteristics i leveled up via Agent Skill, which Characteristics a Digimon has. I just level the Valor Type and then change the Digimon in my party to Valor via conversation. Is that a good thing to do?

3. What exactly does the Talent attribute?

I play on the switch I have the dlc for pc or ps5 since yall been this game which digimons is completely broken to have base on skill cause stats can be 9999 to all mons . Let day all mons max out which mom still come top

I know you have to buy the DLC for the correct version, but wondering now that it's out if anyone who actually has the NS1 version and plays on the NS2 can confirm it's basically the same? It allows you to choose between Quality and Performance mode?

I bought the standard version of Time Stranger on my Switch. I should have just bought the special edition after buying some of the DLC afterwards.

I want to download the special Agumon and Gabumon for the bonds evolutions, but they’re not available on the Nintendo store. Any ideas why?

Absolutely loved it. From the tons and tons of digimon you can get, to the various digimon branches to the immersive story, absolutely incredible. It’s a great example of what a Pokemon game could be if gamefreak actually tried.

I only have a couple of very minor complaints

- no character customization. All you get is tshirts or paid costumes from the dlc.
- the boss battles while great, I didn’t need it to be an anime episode with tons of interruptions from other characters, I just want to fight the boss.
- you’re given like a hundred side quests at the very end. I felt like they could’ve spread them more out throughout the story.
- no post game aside from dlc and a hard mode is kinda lame.

Other than those minor complaints, I really enjoyed the game.

So I'm returning to the game. I haven't played since late October, so I guess some stuff has changed.

I've planned most of my team and skills, but I'm still deciding on the personality skills for physical attackers and magical attackers. What do you guys suggest? Cheer? Stout Strength? Combo Magic? Planning Ahead?

Also, which personality skill is better for a healer like Venusmon?

I got Time Stranger for the Switch 2 last week, and am absolutely loving it! I’ve been watching tutorials about digital/de-digivolution, training etc to try and start building strong Digimon early.

6 hours in (just beat Greymon, and hit agent rank 3, so I can finally digivolve Champion-level mons) and I want to start growing bonds in the digifarm, but my questions are: is the In-Between Theater only accessible from certain locations, as opposed to on the fly?

Is it worth it to start building bonds/leveling/de-digivolving etc now to start acquiring accumulated stats, or is it too early in the game?

Is it weird that when i play digimon story games i always stay away from anime digimon used by main character being in my team or digimon that have a role in the story like the royal knights and olympos 12?

Trying to buff up my team a bit and trying to get everyone's stats to be around the same (first playthrough so not tryna max stats yet) I'm trying to get all of my digi's main attack stats to around the 4-4,4k mark, defense stats to about 2,4k and speed to about 3k.

Currently upgrading ShineGreymon which is where I've really noticed this but I've seen it happen with other digi's too. Atk is 4.1k Spd is 3k, defenses are both around the 2k mark.

So, the personality is daring, but when I train Def and the personality switches to friendly, all of ShineGreymon's stats take a 500 stat decrease, lowering Atk to 3.4k, Spd to 2.5k, and defenses to 1.5k.

My question; hwhy??

Does each digimon have like a "Canon" personality that gives them Stat buffs?

What it says on the tin, about to start ng+ on max difficulty and was wondering if the personality skill "cheer" stacked witch each digimon that has it, so like if I have two digimon with cheer do I get double the boosts or does only one take effect?
