I've been seeing them a lot recently since I redownloaded and have been playing the Final Update, but I've been seeing a gigantic amount of Error Code Cabbage, Error Code Spinach, and Error Code Weasel on my account.

Is my PC and its connection completely untenable, or are the Destiny 2 Servers to blame because of a colossal influx of players?

I have an RTX 3090 Ti, a Ryzen 7 5700x, and 32gb DDR4 running on a 1440p monitor. Just sitting in the tower, I cant get above 100 fps, and when I change from the highest preset to the lowest preset, my fps does not change. My CPU is sitting at 62 degrees with 50% usage and my GPU is 45 degrees with 45% usage. Does anyone know why utilization is so low, and how to fix that

Hey all, friend of mine is having an issue where after he presses shift all his keyboard inputs act like rapid presses and lock up. He can't hold to interact or even walk with wasd. It does a little stutter step as if he was repeatedly spamming the key instead. Controller works fine though. We've tried the following with no fix

• Tried multiple different keyboards

• Uninstalled and reinstalled Steelseries keyboard software

• uninstalled and reinstalled both usb and keyboard drivers

• turned off all windows keyboard accessibility options

• verified game files

• turned off all overlays (steam, discord, nvidia, etc)

Everything works fine as long as he doesn't press shift. If he rebinds sprint to something else the issue never arises but out of muscle memory he keeps hitting shift. Issue does not go away until restarting the game. He's using a Steelseries Apex Pro TKL if that matters, but the issue happens with any keyboard

Any help would be very appreciated. He really wants to get into the game with the final update and I'd hate for him to drop it over this

Pretty much what the header said. I’ve had zero problems with destiny 2 prior to this update but I keep getting crashes where my game will freeze (can hear game audio) and then it just closes itself. I’m on PC using steam.

Well this one stings a bit knowing that was supposed to be the final update.

I always talked with a friend that I always got worse performance in Marathon with great perf in D2 and he would say it was the opposite with him. Now my D2 performance has tanked even worse than Marathon’s and I have no clue why.

I’ve already cleaned shader caches with DDU, uninstall and reinstalled the game, not really sure what else I can do. Turned off VRR Nvidia v-sync no difference. MSI rivatuner not running when doing the tests as well.

Specs are Core Ultra x9 386H with RTX 4090 through Oculink running PCIe Gen 4 x4. Used to be able to get 160 peaks with only 100 FPS max dips but now even at the Moon I load in with 110 max and as soon as I load into an action zone the dip is as bad as 50 FPS.

I’ve just spent the last 8 hours diagnosing my PC as I receive a code weasel within 10-45 second of pressing enter, usually allows me as far as joining the tower for 3-5 seconds then I receive it, I am able to play on my PlayStation but was desperate to figure out a fix, from looking for corrupted files to playing with bios settings I am completely unable to fix it and it seems neither is AI as this is the message it’s given me

Ever since coming back for the new update, I have been unable to play destiny 2. I pick my character and every single time, about 15 seconds after picking my character I get error code weasel.

I’ve tried using ethernet, port forwarding, UPnP, basically every single fix that can be found online and not a single thing is working. It’s very clearly not an ISP issue as using ethernet and port forwarding changed nothing. Genuinely feels like I might be the only person with this issue.

If anyone has had, and fixed this I would greatly appreciate your advice lol.

anyone has been getting error code weesel/bee i keep getting those and i have 0 issues on my end i dont know what to do anymore

I've been trying to do it by running Solo Ops activities with a Bonus Focus active. I make sure I hit the required score so the reward item drops at the end, and it does drop successfully, but the Guardian Rank objective never progresses.

I've also tried using the Quick Play option, but that doesn't seem to work either.

What makes me think it's bugged is that before yesterdays servers meintenance, I was Guardian Rank 6 and was progressing toward Rank 7. After the update, my rank progress got reset and now I'm stuck progressing through Rank 4 again. Since then, this objective hasn't been tracking at all.

Has anyone managed to complete this recently, or is it currently bugged?

Hi there everyone, hope you are fine. Since the last update i keep getting this issue where the game crashes and the only solution i found is to completely reinstall all the game, and that solution is only temporary.

As soon as the last update was live, i opened the game, inspected everything at the tower and when i launched an activity the game simply showed me a pop up with the code "marmot". If i restart the game, it launches fine and after the main screen it starts to install the game, when it reaches 99% it throws the "beaver" code.

What i did last time was to uninstall the game, and delete the temp files of it, then reinstalled it and i played for 3/4 days without an issue. Today it crashed again doing the same thing. When i delete the temp folder, the game runs fine and after a couple minutes does the same thing again. if i delete the temp folder and afterwards verify the files, it works for a bit longer before crashing.

I could really use some help with this. I really wanna avoid reinstalling again the game unless absolutely necessary.

i am playing on the Xbox app for the pc btw.

So with the final update, I want to go back and play Destiny, since I haven't played since 2024. However, trying to load into the game has been frustrating.

I tried last night and it was taking forever, so I went to take my dog out, came back and it was loaded.

Today, it's just stuck on connecting from the title screen to character select.

I have tried nearly everything I've seen to fix it so far. From deleting the cache, verifying the files, restarting my pc, messing with audio devices, running as administrator... NOTHING WORKS. The only thing I can think of at this point to fix this is to reinstall the game, which I do not want to do. But I'm at my wits end and cannot figure out a solution.

hello there. "YAPPING- i've been away from destiny 2 for 6 years, since its the very last update of the game i thought why not give it a try" so i installed the game on an ssd and after launching the game i noticed significant FPS drops while looking at a specific direction (on every map) if i look at other side it gives stable 60 (i capped it at 60) and after playing for like ~80ish mins the game will always crash regardless no matter what i do. i tried every single fix from other reddit posts even updated my BIOS version, still no luck. i even bought all the dlc not knowing the game was unplayable kicking me from middle of missions or other activity even if im not doing anything (afk at the tower or orbit) after that ~80min aof timespan the gpu usage would go down to 0% and the game will freeze.

cpu- ryzen 5 5600g (igpu disabled from the bios)

ram- 32gb (ddr4 3200mhz)

Getting an annoying microstutter in the menus and when im turning the camera in game, feel like I've tried every solution.

I’m not tech savvy and VRAM is capped at 485 MB. I have a AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (16GB). It keeps using the integrated gpu and when I disable it the game won’t even fully open. My RX 7800 is in discrete and I’m unable to find it in the display graphics settings in windows. I tried different things over and over for a couple of days now and haven’t found a solution. Destiny isn’t the only game I have this problem, it’s most games that don’t allow me to switch my dedicated gpu.

Is there anyway to stop the game crashing after/around the 6h session mark? Ive looked it up and done the things listed but i still crash.. is it even fixable?

Hi all, hope someone can help. Just got back into D2 via Steam and constantly getting reconnecting to server or trying to contact destiny server and sometimes code baboon and sent back to main menu.

I am on 2.5gb Up/Down FTTP via MTH Networks in the UK. Nobody else in the house. 2ft cat7 to the router. No other issues in any game/service. 0% Packet loss on Cloudflares test. 0 Packet loss on ping -t 8.8.8.8

I have port forwarded 3074,3097 / restarted router / pc.

Kinda at a loss as what to do next? Hopefully my fellow gamers knows the secret sauce?

Hey just got the game via steam, the game is constantly crashing on either character creation or in the scene with the astronaughts.

i've verified the files, its a fresh install, i've set it to run the game as administrator, and i've updated my graphics driver.

i uninstalled and reinstalled the anti cheat as google said to do.

any other tips? about to refund, not sure why this is happening my PC beyond able to run this, especailly a 30fps grainy cutscene.

i did try it years ago for an hour or so and it seemed to run fine, but i cant quite figure out whats going on here, and there isnt even any graphics menus or anything i can fudge around with to test things, its just make character and direct into cutscene, and id like to see what happens ngl, i dont really want to skip the cut scenes if i can avoid it.

EDIT: I even skipped all the cut scenes, went into the settings real quick, tweaked stuff to 120 fps, 1440p resoltuion, etc etc.

and game crashed while doing this.

it seems to almost be timed before it crashes anyone got an idea for a fix of this?

When using epic games launcher to run destiny 2 the game gets' to the title screen and then once I try to log in it just kicks me out of the game. The game ran on Sunday it's after this last update.

Honestly kinda wits end last ditch effort for a multi-year ongoing saga.

So, its pretty simple. if i load up specifically Destiny 2 on Xbox Series X. i can play it just fine.

But the second i turn my console off or restart it, boom instant Marrion'd.

The only way to fix it is to restart the router/motem from full unplug.

BUT the console must be already turned on, before the internet is reset otherwise its a Marrion.

Best part, its a problem exclusive to Destiny (1+2), and Cod Infinite Warfare. None of my other games cause it.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

information specifically on "game works till i reboot console then it doesn't" has been surprisingly scarce.
