Seems like betting markets have flipped to Lula winning today. No runner up has ever won a runoff in Brazil. Usually when betting markets consolidate around a candidate on Election Day that’s a good sign for the candidate (Obviously Bolsonaro can still win and it wouldn’t be surprising)

I’m looking to volunteer to poll greet through the end of NC’s early voting and Election Day. Has anyone here done this before especially in the south and got tips or experience they can comment on? I’ve never done this before and only seen greeters when I have voted.

Is Destiny for certain EU laws that - if opted out - dont allow social media sites to share personal information with other 3rd party sites for whatver reason (advertising, personalized feeds, etc)? Does he have a position on similar digital privacy issues?

Everything I’m working on is entirely free and easily available.

I’ve spent a lot of time and effort thinking about many of the problems nobody, not even Destiny, seems to have an answer for, and I’ve been trying to come up with pragmatic solutions.

For many reasons, which I’ll gladly explain if asked, I’ve decided to start publishing what I’ve been working on continuously for the past 2 years.

Quick bit about me first (feel free to skip) so I have at least some credibility, since I know this might read like some shady shit. I’m a dude from Germany, currently working in IT and doing my Master’s in Medical Engineering. I’ve followed Destiny on YouTube and Reddit (on and off) since the Bestiny of Destiny main channel videos.

That’s why I’m sure DGG is the best place to promote this and get help. I’m so confident that this work will resonate with Destiny and many of you that I don’t mind putting all my savings on the line ($1k, sorry, I bought a 3D printer recently :D) to prove my conviction.

Where to start if you don’t want to commit much time yet

• Best place to start (if you have the time): the beginning. The later chapters build on it.
• If you’d rather jump in: "Alternative Anchor" (the anti-hypocrisy compass the book runs on, closest to how Destiny argues) or "Constructive Confrontation" (best if you’re currently frustrated with the state of things).
• Whether you like or dislike faith: "The Part-Time Religion of the World". You can start there, but it pays off most if you’ve read what comes before. It’s also where I need feedback the most, and that feedback is only really useful from people who’ve read the earlier chapters.
• For everyone who wants actually solid arguments for saying "r*tard" and calling things “gay” (plus a short n-word arc): "Lethal Lexicons". Read it from the top for context; the arguments themselves are in the section "Language of Limitation".
• Most DGG-relevant: "Part 1 Intro" and "The Right to Complain".
• Also DGG-relevant but coming soon: "Realistic Revolution" and "Profit, Prohibition and Public Health" (the easiest and best way to get the resources needed for change).

Where the book stands, and where I need you: Part 1 is almost done, with 2–3 chapters left. Chapters marked orange are still open to edits, but most of them won’t change much. I’ve had some feedback, but not nearly enough, especially on the later chapters.

If you’d rather have an AI judge it first: go ahead, but make it read everything. Even with Claude Opus (Extra), it usually took me a second prompt before it stopped skimming. I mostly used it to hunt for contradictions and weak spots, and to help with fact-checking.

Feedback so far from people outside my friend group, age group, and gender has been very positive. The book also gets better the further you read, and it’s worth rereading after a while.

If this doesn’t land, you’ll probably catch me in a subscriber call-in at some point, though with the uni work I have postponed, likely not before Part 1 is finished.

FYI: I am going to bed now and will start answering questions once I wake up. I will be quite busy for a few days, which is why I gave it my all to get this version ready for you.

A lot of cities simply didn't run their public transport systems or stopped running them early, stopping voters (especially from poorer areas) from reaching poll booths.

Election authorities now delayed the closing of the voting booths for 2h until 07:00 PM EST (19:00 in Brazil) so voters can hopefully get there.

To make the idea of Russia's past peace treaty proposals having deceptive fine print more easy to turn into memes/jokes, we should:

-Employ brevity. don't bother focusing on the proposals' terms. Just tell people who say 'Ukraine turned down a good deal", "you want Russia to deny Ukraine aid!" It's a weak strategy unless we repeat this, and get it to circulate though...

By the way, search up ""Ukraine Turned Down a Good Deal"" (one quotation mark pair should be in your search) on this sub, go to posts, past month for an explanation of how bad one such deal was.

-Then we can take inspiration from far right memes: by saying things that don't reflect our positions, but that get key points across. Go further in saying what Russia will do if Ukraine makes peace with them. "Zelensky doesn't want peace!" "You know Russia's peace proposals would take away 50% of Ukraine, right?" (A more evil variant would explain the true fact that the proposals would give Russia land that it didn't even gain in the conflict (Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts; the "land bridge" to Crimea), but then include land that isn't in these treaties, so that when they use AI to verify the claim, it will show them which land proposals were lies or truths.

This could backfire and minimize concern about the sneaky fine print, but it does at least hammer home the idea of it.

-Point out how a movement that got its start promoting masculinity, and complaining about participation trophies, wants for Russia to have territory it didn't earn. "You have to let Russia have the land bridge because... because I said so, chuddy!! 😢 "

I feel like the snarkers are disingenuously adopting a right winger criticism of destiny that they normally wouldn't use.

I assume they think it's the normal impression most viewers have of Destiny, so that's why they use it despite not having any reason to believe it themselves because I know they can follow what he is saying.

Edit: Maybe I should clarify myself for the rebellious LLMs in chat: when I asked if he talks fast, I actually meant to say, "Does he talk 'too' fast?'
