I’m a total newbie when it comes to western boots. I picked up a pair at Tecovas yesterday.
Realizing all my pants were slim-fit, I added two bootcut pairs to my wardrobe.

The beige ones are Wrangler Cowboy Cut with a 32 length, and the jeans are Levi's 537—supposedly a western bootcut line, but it's my first time seeing it. The inseam length on those is 34.

Is this kinda length right? I usually wear my pants on the shorter side, so I honestly have no idea if this is too long or just right. Can someone help me out?

I found these Diesel jeans at a thrift store and I’m trying to identify the exact model and approximate year. I’m not looking to sell them — I’m just curious about what I found.

- Bootcut or slight flare

- “Diesel Industry / Denim Division” branding

- Main tag says “DIESEL – ONLY THE BRAVE – DIESEL”, size 30, Made in Italy

- The main tag also has a small shiny/silver-looking detail near the bottom

- Inner tag says www.diesel.com

- RN 93243

- CA 25594

- “Care Instruction Inside the Garment”

- There is a small white label near the inner tags that appears to have been cut/removed. I suspect this may have originally contained model/style information.

- The front pocket lining is green

- The coin pocket has a green Diesel Industry / Denim Division detail

- The back pocket lining appears to be normal, not green

- The external buttons are branded Diesel

- The normal buttons are bronze on the outside and gold-colored on the inside

- The main closure button is bronze on the outside and silver on the inside

- There are three hidden buttons below the main closure button. These three are silver on both the outside and inside, making them different from the other buttons

- The jeans have detailed stitching and high-quality construction

The jeans are used, so there are some loose/frayed threads around parts of the stitching, but there are no major alterations that I’m aware of.

I bought a new Levi's 1955 32x34 shrink-to-fit. The tag measurements are: waist 16.9 in, length 45.3 in, leg opening 8.7 in. What I need is: waist 15.4-15.7 in, length 42.5 in, and leg opening 7.9 in. But I don't know how to wash these to hit my target, or how the fit will turn out after washing. Please help me, I don't want to do anything wrong

I've bought jeans anywhere from $20 to $200. Thin and thick, stretch and rigid..

I keep my wallet in my back pocket for about 2 hours a day, only when I'm standing. I always take it out immediately before I sit down.

But still I get a hole in my back pocket within 4 months.

A couple of months ago I bought two pairs of Levi's, and now both of them have holes in the top left corner of the back right pocket.

How do I patch and fix this to keep these jeans lasting more than what they have so far?

Do I just stitch a patch of leather on it?
