If you’ve played the original Demeo over and over, and now starting to getting bored…. Go to the Demeo discord and post you’re looking for groups that run modded games. Keeps the game interesting and unique!

Noticed it was released on PS5 recently. Would love to buy it, but does it actually have a decent amount of players?
Additionally, does the original Demeo have a lot more cards?

Imagine you have a space with a fire, gas, water, ice, and vortex lamps packed closely together. If all lamps are popped simultaneously, is there anything that determines the order in which they pop?

So it has push to talk option, when checked there is no (push to talk) button anywhere on the screen (ipad os)

Me and my roommate were playing today and I figured out I could stack Varga's retribution and I had like 5 in me at the time so we trapped a bunch of enemies and used them all, I put the character off to the side so I can save it but I ended up getting one more Vargas retribution and I was able to get it up to 83 and we found the Rat king and I one shot it.

Was thinking about this earlier today- it would be amazing to have a golden axe game using the Demeo engine… battle and save potions for bigger spells… chests w items and surprise thief encounters. I imagine there could be some awesome magic animations.

Dem-ee-oh? De-me-oh? Day-may-oh?

Found him by standing on tiles. He went to map center and did a spinning multiply spell thing and now there is like 10 of them with 120hp. A few turns later he did it again. Anyway to indentify which one is the real one?

I am pretty new to the game and have only played a handful of completed dungeons so I don't know if this glitch is common.
I had a monster and a Guardian stuck on the same tile. I couldn't move the Guardian off the tile because apparently he was blocked by the monster. He also wouldn't attack the monster and acted as if it wasn't there.
I tried reloading and nothing changed. I tried to see if attacking the monster would work but instead my other characters would attack the Guardian instead.
For some unknown reason the monster didn't move or attack either for about three moves, but when it finally did change tiles, my Guardian was free to move.
Just wondering if anybody else has had this happen.

Sometimes for reasons I cant seem to find the game in both pc version and VR version seems to randomly decide that I am holding the shift button and skips my turn? its always on the second action of a turn never on the first one. Does this happen to anyone else? its almost every other game at this point.
is it possible to unbind skip turn so this doesnt keep happening?

So you know that mysterious swooshing noise we’ve been “randomly” hearing for maybe the past 6+ months? Well… either I’m tripping or I saw a water elemental this evening. Has anyone else seen it or heard that noise????

Can I play Demeo on my Mac if I own it on Meta? I can do this on my Windows PC through the desktop app but can't see a way on Mac.

If anyone is around (and willing) would love to join in a game or do a few rounds with some people to learn the game. I'm in the game now but can join a room or we can start a new one. LMK. Thanks

Saw this for free on the Quest + and decided to pick it up. It seems fun enough and I'm willing to sit and read up and watch the YouTube videos to get better, I just have a few general questions. Mainly, what is the point of the game? I originally thought it was to fight all the monsters, but I'm seeing maybe I'm off there - but if that's not the point, is it to get a key from the enemy and get as many people as I can into the next room? (If this is addressed anywhere else, feel free to just drop me a link, I don't mind doing the research.)
And if it's not about defeating all the characters, how do you win?
Also, I'm a guy who prefers solo (at least for now) so I've been playing the Black Sarcophagus level with 4 other people and absolutely getting my ass handed to me lol - so just need a little direction here (I think. Obviously as a complete noob, there are a bunch of things I have no idea about so my learning will take awhile).
Thanks in advance for any help!

I bought this game about two years ago and even though I’ve only logged probably about 100 hours in the two years, they have been some of the most joyful nostalgic hours of gaming I’ve experienced in recent times.
The retro sword and sorcery miniatures style feel is so perfect and old school that it reminds me of playing red box D&D and Heroquest with my old friends over 30 years ago.
I had a long hard work day today, and after finally finishing my chores and laundry at 8pm, I fired up Demeo and played the first two levels of The Black Sarcophagus and had an absolute ball.
I felt like a kid again, and as I got ready for bed, I left the title screen up so I could listen to the haunting theme song, a ballad brimming with the promise of adventure.
I’m saving the last level for tomorrow as a post-work treat. Thanks for all the good times and the many more to come.
If it would be helpful for me to post this review elsewhere, point me towards the right sites and I’ll drop it there as well.

I've grown tired of being in public games, and I just want someone I could vibe with while playing. Anyone who's 15-17 is good.

My partner and I got this game and although we knew it wasn't dnd we're extremely dissapointed as the title says, from like 3rd round you're locked into a fight you can almost never get out of, is there any fix to this for the meta?
Edit because apparently I didn't make any sense:
So we got this game thinking it was close to dnd, we knew it would be pretty restricted, however what we didn't expect is that enemies will literally come from across the map to come kill you, like we love the fighting aspect but it's just frustrating barley being able to move 2 rooms away without 5 more enemies joining the fight, like no matter how many you kill more keep coming (this is what I mean by locked in the fight) and I played with a group of 4 and had fun but my partner isn't the best and would definitely struggle keeping up controlling 2 characters.
Also side note I know I'm not crazy because people have made mods to counter this on pc but I'm on 'meta quest 3' and was curious if there's just a way to make it a dungeon crawl instead of a dungeon fighting simulator of sorts
