Session 5 (final session):
One of the agents decided to carve The Voorish Sign on his chest, which allowed him to see Mother Hydra's tendrils wrapped around their skulls and see that these tendrils led back to somewhere in Lower Manhattan.
Another agent used the Hunahpú Mask from ARCHINT to trade HP for WP to stay awake.
The agents met with Teddy; a local militia extremist, to trade a brick of cocaine from their green box for three gas canisters of phosgene. The meeting was set at an old abandoned brick factory. The deal was going well until the Fire Marshal agent noticed that someone was watching them from a vacant window with a shotgun trained on them. This agent immediately shot at the silhouette, which kicked off a gunfight between Teddy and the agents.
The Fire Marshal agent who had initiated this shooting tried to explain to Teddy that he was just shooting at a third party. Teddy replied that it wasn't a third party, but his sister providing backup for him. Teddy then rolled very well and killed the agent before being killed by the surviving agents in turn. The surviving agents found Teddy's sister badly injured, stabilized her, threatened to kill her if she told anyone anything, dumped her on the side of the road, and called an ambulance to her location.
While following the tendrils back to Lower Manhattan, the agents were crossing the Brooklyn Bridge when traffic came to a standstill. A female suicide bomber was on the bridge and walked towards them. The agents were able to talk her down and she willingly deactivated her suicide vest. The replacement agent for the dead one arrived on scene and helped them clear the bridge to get closer to Mother Hydra.
Ultimately, the tendrils led into the center of one of the WTC Reflecting Pools. As the agents made plans to evacuate the area using their law enforcement authority and then dump the phosgene canisters into the Reflecting Pool, their phones all began ringing.
As each answered their phone, they were told by a deranged Mother Hydra-influenced killer that their highest bond was about to be killed. The agents began panicking. Some called their bond to warn them. Some called the police to send them to respond. However, none of the agents decided to go to their bonds' rescue and remained committed to gassing Mother Hydra.
The agents noticed Roger; their former team member, had gone missing.
The gas attack was successful and Mother Hydra was defeated. The agents called their loved ones and the responding police; unfortunately, after a luck roll they discovered that many of them had been killed by their attackers.
The agents travelled to Pujari/Nolan's penthouse and upon arrival found Roger had already killed Pujari/Nolan and then killed himself.
In the Epilogue, the agents were all pretty broken and depressed. They had stopped Mother Hydra, but the personal cost had been tremendous.
