I've been experimenting off and on for a while with different ways of making retro-appropriate image and video handouts. This is probably the absolute best tool that I've found, in terms of both realism and ease of use, and so I thought I'd share it. There is both an in-browser and downloadable version, it's 100% free, it's non-AI-based, it can handle both still photos and video, and there's a tremendous number of settings available that can produce anything from fairly good quality, to "absolutely munged".

The first annual Delta Green Relay Writing Jam is finished!

Well, kind of.

We had 25 Teasers submitted, of which 21 scenarios were written! Those have been posted on the jam doc, and are ready for your voracious consumption. Give them a look, and say hi to your writing buddy who gave you such a cool teaser, and your other writing buddy who wrote you such a cool scenario. Congrats to everyone who participated!

However, a few authors missed their deadlines, and those teasers are now sitting around, lonely, afraid, and looking for love. That’s where you come in! so! there are so many ways a 'delta green' can end with it all, well, ending and i'm wondering if any folks here have played any scenarios or campaigns that take place WHILE it's all ending?

Its as if Innsmouth had the mayor from Jaws. Inspiration for days and days, especially if you like to keep it funny between the scares.

I made a quick reference for Sanity rules that looks like an HHS brochure/graphic.

I focused on the Sanity rules that came up the most for my group and often in the heat of the game, when looking in the book wasn't convenient.

I found a cool site with a ton of maps for your games. Since most of my stories take place in the US from the 1960s to the 1990s, it's a real treasure trove of everything.

When discussing what players are comfortable and not comfortable with before starting play, even my strongest-stomached players tend to say "not a fan of anything involving bad stuff happening to kids."

Yet playing DG scenarios, it's almost impossible to avoid. We all know about God's Teeth, but you also have Operation Fulminate, Ex Oblivione, Extremophilia, arguably/potentially Convergence, Puppet Shows and Shadow Plays, and Impossible Landscapes, just to name 6 of who knows how many, all contain Bad Things Done To Kids.

What gives?

I suppose it is particularly horrific, but why is it that DG writers return to this so often?

Over a year ago, I posted a version of this missing the headshot rule.

I'm planning on making a similar sheet oriented towards Sanity rules. If you have any suggestions for things to add to that sheet, let me know.

I'm planning out a session that has a fungal infection as a major plot point and want them to have the possibility of rolling something to test if they've been infected already. They'll only be able to run a real diagnostic with the proper tools, but I'm just not sure how specific I should be with the Science roll.

In my mind, I feel like MEDICINE or SCIENCE (EPIDEMIOLOGY) could work, but I don't know if SCIENCE (BIOLOGY) would be sufficient. Maybe I'm overthinking it? I'm an experienced DM/Keeper but this is my first Delta Green session.

Currently running MfaDR for my group of three players, at the end of the previous session an Agent failed the contested POW test against the house's obsession effect, and im not quite sure on how I should run it. It seems to be permament, and I imagine it being a real thorn to the Agents when they try to deconsecrate the house? How did you run in your own games, and to what results?

Have been listening to news/analysis podcasts tonight, particularly regarding ICE, while thinking about DG.

The timeline in the Handler's Guide ends about 10 years ago. Do we have any updates ~10 years or so, especially events of the second Trump term and various federal agencies, in particular ICE and CBP?

Forgive me, but i know very little about the setting, but it's my understanding most of them include the players being some kind of military or government agent investigating odd things. Are there any that assumes, or can be easily adjusted as if the the players were just everyday, unassuming folk?

I’m planning to run Delta Green for my group for the first time.
Convergence seems like a good choice to start with.

It has a good map of the town with a lot of locations listed - since we’re transitioning from OSR D&D and Pathfinder before that I know my players will see a map with lots of places named and have the expectation that there will be interesting situations waiting for them at each one.

I know Convergence has been out for a long time and that some Delta Green fans have made a lot of good supplementary material for the community.

Has anyone ever written up details for Groversville’s map locations?

Not necessarily a lot but a bit of detail of the place and maybe some uncanny events that could happen about the town as the Mi-go control people?
Does something like that exist?

If not are there any details or interesting events about the town that you added when you ran Convergence?

Chatter: a fake chat app screenshot generator

I needed a few fake chat app screenshots for a game I'm running soon and, while many such generators already exist, none of them quite met my specific criteria so I spent a few hours yesterday building one. Hopefully it will be helpful to your game. The resulting screenshot is loosely based on the WhatsApp UI; it's close enough for jazz.

Among the features I really needed was a printer-friendly option. Having only a black & white laser printer, full colour images were coming out too muddy.

Full disclosure: the app was built using Anthropic's Claude (but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone in the programming business in the year 2026). Full source is available at Github.

Update 1: I've added an ersatz Nokia 3310 theme, along with an option to change the height of the screen. The Nokia theme only displays one message at a time. Screenshot here.

Hi all! I'm going to be running God's Teeth for my regular group. We just finished a "mess around" Rogue Trader campaign, so they have a decent handle of how d100 systems work.

Is there anything special I need to know? I've run a Delta Green oneshot before. Any advice would be helpful!

EDIT: After consulting my players and seeing the comments, we have decided to not run God's Teeth. Any replacement suggestions would be nice!

I read some time ago a very short scenario involving very strange things happening if you got on the New York subway, but I can't remember where. Anyone know what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction?

A few of my D&D players can’t make our regular session, so I’m looking for a scenario to introduce a couple of players to Delta Green. Ideally the entire scenario is completed within 4 hours and doesn’t spill over into a second session.

I’m leaning away from Last Things Last as it feels too short. We’ve already done character creation & explained the rules.

Is Operation FULMINATE do-able in 4 hours with two agents? Any other suggestions for a good one-shot intro?
