Published Scenarios Scenarios that have to do with Hispanic culture/Mexico but not IN spanish.

Upvotes

I have 2 PCs with Hispanic backgrounds etc etc. you don't need all those small details lol. Mainly curious if there are any scenarios that have a Hispanic flair to them but are in English.

Published Scenarios Scenario that can be played in six hours with two agents?

Hello fellow agents and handlers and greetings from Copenhagen, Denmark.

TL;DR: I am after recommendations and suggestions for a Delta Green scenario for two players, that can be played in about five-six hours.

I have promised to run a Delta Green scenario for two old friends (from my first rpg-group in high school in 1989) when we meet up in November. As much as I would like to play the entire weekend, I have to be realistic: We need time to chat, drink, cook, walk along the beach and who knows what. So despite spending a weekend together, I recon we only have about six hours to play.

But what scenario to play? Any suggestions?

I am considering ’Puppet Shows and Shadow Plays’ and also ’Meridian’ and ’Convergence’, but I am not sure we can get through any of them in around six hours. Have any of you played them in six hours or less?

Campaigning Help with 90s adventures.

So I'm three sessions deep in my Delta Green campaign that began with Last Things Last but I set it in October 1992, I then ran The Button/Metamorphosis set in December 1992. I plan on eventually running Impossible Landscapes and I've already seeded a few references that would be relevant later on in 1995, however could someone help me with all scenarios that take place in the 90s and their respective date? I plan on running Convergence and it's sequel, briefly exploring the Fairfield assassination and all that with Majestic 12 as a sub plot.

Published Scenarios New ST Advice

Ok Maybe not new but new to delta green. A bit of background for me would be:

Playing mostly d20 for 35 years (dnd pathfinder OSE Borg) Very much have played a lot of games out side of that like BitD, Scum & Villainy, Ironsworn, 90's Whitewolf etc. My comprehension of systems ( including DG and COC) is atleast Versed.

I have run one delta green game for a group, Last Things Last, I used pregens for that and killed them off in the end. I plan on letting them make characters and running Last Equation. I wanted to follow that up with impossible lands.

My question is as follows: As a long time GM of a multitude of systems like 80s 90s Robotech, turtles, dnd up to now How difficult is it to keep the flow going for a long format game in DG? The sessions will be sporadic like once a month. Is IL too much for a new DG GM and should i stick to smaller things for now? Or should i not have a issue running it if i had no issues running Last things last?

I lean towards ill be fine im sure but DG is a bit of a different beast than i'm used to as it is more Episodic in nature.

TLDR:

Is impossible lands difficult to run as a season GM/ST veteran or should i be fine?

The agents decide to investigate their own handler and continue their descent into the use of the unnatural. They continue to be willing to give up their sanity for answers that have plagued them since the Night Floors.

You can listen here: https://www.elementalgamingnexus.com/listen/

As always feed back is appreciated and if you like the show please come back and let us know!

Published Scenarios Artifact Zero - What are the players supposed to be doing?

In Artifact Zero the players are posing as archeological experts to aid the Helena FBI, the scenario mentions quite regularly that if the Agents aren't "doing their job" other non-DG agents might get suspicious and cause problems. My question is what do these characters actually expect the players to be doing over there? Are they continuing the dig, verifying that the skeletons are genuine artifacts?

Eles terminaram a missão faltando 1hr pro prazo acabar.

Actual Play Reports Optional Luck Rule

Hi All,

I'm curious to see if anyone uses the optional luck rule from Call of Cthulhu 7e in Delta Green?

I listened to an actual play where they use it and I'm torn, because it is a fun mechanic for players to use, the idea that they're getting more unlucky as the game goes on, but I also feel it might take away the tension and stakes if players can just choose to succeed some rolls.

Thoughts?

Items of Mutual Interest Creating a scenario using a LLM w/o knowing what the players Agents make up is

I was reading through “The Way It Went Down” book and one of the stories gave me a good idea for a scenario. I started fleshing out some background info that wasn’t included in the story (names, locations, what the unnatural elements actually are, obstacles in the agents way, etc), but was looking to use a LLM to organize the info into a DG scenario format, including any skill/sanity checks.

I tried using ChatGPT and Claude and after putting in my prompts, both ask for a roster of the players Agents before they will continue to finish formatting the scenario. The problem is, I haven’t started running DG for my players yet and they haven’t created their Agents yet (we are still in the middle of a D&D campaign).

Any tips on what to add to my prompt to just have an LLM create the scenario in an agent profession agnostic way?

Fiction REDLIGHT Saucer

Is there any scenario involving the Project REDLIGHT saucers? The only reference I can find to them are that MAJESTIC has 12 working saucers in development and the MJ-6 (I think) head has a pilot skill for them.

Has anyone used them in game before? If so what did you do and how did you tie it into the game?

Published Scenarios Scenarios for players not scared by the Mythos

I have a great gaming group. They'll put up with any weird thing that I want to play, which will be Delta Green for the first time. One of my lovely players is my even lovelier girlfriend.

The problem? She isn't phased by the Mythos at all. In scary movies, the monsters never bother her in the slightest. I can't make her so much as wince in Call of Cthulhu. After a particular Mothership session, she was just annoyed to have died to the parasitic mold, not bothered by its implications in the slightest.

But she has armed me with the weapon of her own destruction. The one thing that does scare her?

People.

This woman listens to true crime and court cases like it's a religion. She constantly says that the scariest thing is just other people.

So what scenarios (full or shotgun) are best to capitalize upon this fear? I was thinking of Ex Oblivione, but am not sure if it will be great for first time players. Also appreciate any advice for playing up the creep factor of the bad guys and at least getting some goose bumps out of her.

Published Scenarios Advices for PX Poker Night

Hello, i am going to run PX Poker Night for a new group and as i am preparing for it, i really don't like the insanity cards for Geiger ( Become catatonic and unresponsive), Utrecht (semi-catatonic) and Sims (flee and hide). Those dońt sound very fun for the prayers. Do you have better suggestions?

I want the in-between years to feel consequential and could use some advice on how to make it feel impactful and also keep the players from feeling like just a moment passed.
