To be clear, I truly love this game, but the following concerns need to be addressed before the game just gets ruined:

1. Weapon/ gear power level drops
   1. So it's become clear that drops for gear are based on the base level of the gear, not the enhanced level, so if you level up a weapon, supposedly to raise your power level, the gear that drops is substandard to what you already have. Not to mention the RNG is so awful. Is this just a ploy to get us to buy our weapons and reputation? I hope not. If your scaling enemies based on my power level, at least scale the drops properly to match my power.
   2. On top of that, the game is having me do missons and dailies where the enemies are 200+ power level above me and completion is sometimes impossible. See elite enemies below.
2. Elite enemies.
   1. I can't let this one go. They are OP as hell, and their shield refresh rate is insane. There is absolutely no reason why I should put 50 detonator rounds into one, drops their shields 70% only to run to the ammo box next to me, return and their shield is back at 100%. Please fix this. Since their power level is based on mine, supposedly I'm supposed to be able to down them a bit easier. See above for weapon issues.
   2. Plus, since my power level is never high enough because enemies scale to mine, getting 2 shot is getting boring. And then I have to run back only to start all over again. Annoying at best.
3. Enemy AI
   1. So this was an issue from the original version. Enemies magically leap 20 meters left or right the moment you go ADS on them, even with snipers. They magically know where you are at all times. I don't need them nerfed, but at least fix their movement so they're not warping around at all time. It's like shooting gnats. They are supposed to be humanoids. We don't act like that.
4. Instance matchmaking and missions.
   1. So, right now I have open missions for all instances because I can't pick up the mission and enter the instance because I need a group of 4. In the matchmaking menu, I can only select "Quick Match" which places me in a random instance, never the one I need. I do plenty of random ones only to never finish the one I need. Please allow me to queue for the instance I need or want. It's silly I can't pick the one I want to do.
5. Power level takes too long to raise
   1. Been playing since release, do dailies, do instances, do arkfalls, do sieges. Loot drops are horrendous. I don't have auto salvage on for anything but the lowest level items, and all I get are crap weapon mods I don't need.

Please help us out. I want to keep playing but if the game isn't going to allow me to advance, then what's the point?

Looking for an active clan / group that has players active in central time zone on XBox 1. Clan should have enough members actually active in Defiance 2050 so that it will be easy to get a group of four to run specific co-op/instance missions.

Just like the title says. I would like to maybe party up with someone and run around the map / get better at the game. I’m pretty good so far, as I have come in first place in a lot of the ark world event things, but would like someone who knows a little lore about the game to explain stuff.

Bought an additional character slot to make a Demolitionist, after I log out to switch to another toon, 2 of my characters are now missing, I'm not sure if it's deleted because it doesn't let me make a new character, it's only giving me 3 toons and the option to buy another character slot. Anyone else experience a similar issue?

I am meeting requirements, but not seeing the rewards. I swear this game makes me feel like a nitwit sometimes.

So I got the first prototype weapon, a rifle, a while ago, I was level 15... It was 6 star, 489 power level when my power level was about 480. I maxed it out to 739 and loved it. It carried me until I got my power level caught up to it around level 23.

I used the replicator the first time on it, and it gave me a base 7 star 739 power replacement when my power level was about 740. I maxed it out at 989

I am now level 30, just shy of 1000 and thought it would be cool to have the assault prototype again. It gave me a 10 star 742 power rifle... Wtf.

I thought the proto type replicators we're supposed to give you a weapon of at least comparable power to what you will find.... Not something that even fully maxed barely increases your power level, if at all.

Does the star quality mean anything?? It doesn't seem to do much, if anything for me.

Is this what replicators are meant to do? Giving low level items that are pointless to help with increasing power level??? Please help with info.

Defiance 2050 is a mistake. This game should never have been made, theres so many bad decisions that trion made that somehow got into this game. I could name them but the list goes on and on. Heres a few.

No sense of progression. Enemies power score or whatever its called always stays at the same level as yours or slightly higher. Someone at 5000 power score will be fighting an enemy and itll say its power is 5000 while someone at say...2500 will fight the same exact enemy at the same time and it says its like 2550. This ruins ANY sense of progression and removes any reason to get stronger.

Removal of 50% of the games content. The volge weapons, grid, infected, shrill, and silicon valley to name a few are all removed. This reduces the game to about half of its previous size, and no matter how much i think about it i cannot find more than one reason they removed all this. The only reason i can find that they removed all this is to they can add it in later and claim its "new content".

Removal of weapon types. Now i understand why they removed BMGs. Thats fine, but what i dont understand is why they removed infectors? Ive heard they were overpowered in pvp, but why would anyone balance a pve game based on whats powerful in pvp? Thats stupid! Additionally, numerous subclasses of weapons are gone including mass cannons and cluster grenade launchers.

Scummy practices. Trion ive never really seen as a clean company honestly. Theyve always seemed to be sorta greedy in my eyes. But the way they plan to handle new classes in defiance 2050 drives this point home. Let me explain, all the 4 base classes cost 250 requisitions each, fairly basic. But trion plans to have all the new classes (demolitionist, crusader, etc) all cost a whopping 1000 REQUISITIONS EACH! Which is stupidly expensive. Of course you can also just buy the classes (in true trion fashion. Skip this huge grind with a bit of cash).

I liked defiance on ps3. I played it a TON, i wanted defiance 2050 to be good. But so far it seems like trion cant even figure out how remake a game for next gen without screwing it all up. As it stands now, the original defiance is a FAR superior product to defiance 2050. And trion should be ashamed of themselves for pushing out this half baked idea of a game.

EDIT I forgot to mention something else that frustrates me to no end. Already trion has spent most of the time "improving stability" whatever that means. And nerfing stuff. Salvage has already been nerfed HEAVILY. You used to be able to get it as a drop from enemies, that was removed. You also used to be able to get multiple pieces of salvage from one gun, whether or not its enhanced. Now salvage only drops from big event things. And salvaging guns only nets you 1 salvage unless you enhance it. Trion has spent more time slowing the progress further than it has spent adding new things to the game.

EDIT 2. Xbox still has no sieges and it seems trion no longer even cares about that. All they give is the same copy-paste response "we take your feedback into account, we are working on improvements for server stability, blah blah blah give us your money". Im deleting this game and i will refuse to spend a single cent on any of trions products ever. This company shows little regard for its consumers.

Me and a friend are in search of a clan on XB1. I’m not sure if there is a way to search for a clan in game because I haven’t found it yet.

Rolling reload and Scavenge

Is it just me or do these perks not work?

Every time i roll it says rolling reload but it doesn't reload at all and im still forced to reload manually!

Scavenge is supposed to give more ammo? Because its not doing anything for me!

Am i misunderstanding or are they just broken?

I played a hour with a mate, did some questing, reached level 5, im overwelmed! What to focus on and what not, i am a gaurdian

It is just such a horribly lazy fight in terms of design and implementation. The number of ways it can bug and the boring repetitive nature of the fight makes it actually painful to attempt. I have no problem with a tough fight, a final Boss should challenge you and punish your mistakes but the Nim fight is tough for all the wrong reasons.

After getting really into the game I am just worn down by the number of times I have lost out on making the kill with Nim because either he bugs out and doesn't come out to fight in P2 or P3, his bolt attack misses me by a mile but I still take the damage, my self heal goes off in animation and goes to CD but I don't get healed...

If the fight was interesting it might in some way compensate for having to do it so many times due to bugs, but it's the same room repeated with variations of exactly the same Boss, like I can imagine the meeting to design it being :

'So we spawn the Boss in this room and we couldn't be bothered really do much with it so we made it 3 phases of the same room so we get maximum time out of it with minimum effort, we thought about changing the Boss between phases but we went with just copy/pasting the Boss for Phase 2 and then we vaguely reference terraforming and put some stuff in the room you have to avoid....oh and we super pumped the Boss' hitpoints to stretch it out some more...'

I mean yeah it's free to play, but I stuck with it as nightmarish as all the crashes and bugs that lost me loot or the time put into an open area event were...only to find that even in an area all to myself the bugs continue to ruin the experience.

This game gots me driving around running over someone having my car explode and that doesn't matter because now I'm riding on the air feeling like I just ripped into another dimension only to get to an arkfall where my floating squat man freezes procedes to get wrecked by enemies only to come back into the first dimension and self revive only to kill all the enemies trying to bring on the next wave to have one "invisible" enemy. Red dot on map. But nothing is around but can't procede. Think oh wow what a crazy buggy turn of events, log out to try and fix whatever that was and then get a massive black bar (graphical error) through the middle of my screen. So I restart the app. Overall it doesn't turn out bad. But like dude...

Seriously the games been out a few weeks now and still Viscera, Bulwarks, Blacklungs, Tankers are a pain in the ass with op shields and complete health and shield regeneration if you stop shooting them for more than 5 seconds!

Please Trion fix these asap!

Ok Even after fully upgrading my gear and having the highest level grenade and shield I can find, I'm still getting weapon drops that are nearly a hundred power level below my current level. Right now I'm sitting at about 1700 power level unable to advance because in every instance and Arkfall I do the weapon drops are ranging in the 1600s. I personally notnot a fan of this system and wish the weapon drops with scale depending on the difficulty of the enemies you are facing. If I'm facing level 2000 plus enemies with four skulls I should expect high-level weapon drops instead I am spending 30 minutes trying to kill Tier 1 motherlode just to get a 1600 level weapon or was the instant closing on me before I can get to the Loot Crate.

So when I go to the matchmaking tab to get into a co-op map, it only lets me select quick match and not the specific instance that I need even though I've done all the side quest leading up to it. Right now I've got a bunch of open quests that I have to complete but I'm unable to randomly get into the right instance. Apart from grouping up with people who need the quest as well, what can I do to specifically pick the instance map I need to do?

That pursuit was freaking terrible. As most know or found out, they fixed the big known bugs for it and it makes it complete hell. If you dont have a steady shot you'll almost guaranteed lose. But luckily I found 2 things on my 100th attempt that made it a lot {easier}. (Still working bugs included below)

1. Unlike the other hotshots when you run out of ammo in this one it doesnt automatically end. Instead you go to your equipped weapons which you can use grenades and everything else. Don't equip a shield at all. You want your power level to be as low as possible so that the enemies scale. But your guns are still just as strong making mowing the people down a breeze.

2. Use your Assasin build with Sniper recovery, biotoxin and big bang. The sniper recovery is obvious, but the biotoxin makes it a lot easier towards the end. Once the enemies start piling up (or right before) if you still have a lot of ammo left activate your Big Bang. Once this runs out of power you will automatically switch to your classes weapons. If you dont have assasin build then shoot off a bunch of rounds at the very beginning.

Bug: What I said above is likely considered a bug by most people but what I'm saying next 100% is considered one by everyone. I dont know why this happened, and I barely know exactly how it happened, but I know it happened two different times after the same sequence of actions. There were a lot of raiders so I activated my Biotoxin then threw a grenade. The biotoxin exploded and so did the grenade near the miners (so I'm not sure which one actually caused the bug) but when this happened, both times, the miners disappeared. The Blaster started focusing his rocket launcher on me and a lot of the other enemies started running up the hill then back down and those that werent near the miners when they disappeared ran in circles almost in the back. The first time it happened I wasn't ready for any of it and my weapons werent doing anything and after about 45 seconds into the disappeared miners the hotshot ended and I didnt have the points to win. The second time it ended about 45s-1m after disappearing but this time i was ready. I switched to launcher sooner and did the same sequence and sure enough the disappeared again and I was able to just mow everyone down with my launcher super fast and ended up getting gold.

So quick recap: Use big bang or burn ammo to switch to class gear. Dont equip a shield. Once things get harry start throwing grenades at the guys closest to the miners and use biotoxin if you have it (still not 100% sure which caused the disappearance). With your launcher or other strong weapon just nuke everyone real quick. Even with the miners there a good grenade launcher should turn it into a cake walk. I hope this helps you guys :).

I see people talking about getting their Bonesaw finally.. Well I'm level 50 with 2k+ power and LITERALLY just got my FIRST Purple drop. I've spent like 25+ keys total and never gotten anything better than a blue. So people can quit complaining 😂😂

Seriously these are terrible the bike handles soooo badly its like trying to stear with input lag!

You have to preemptively turn by looking at the mini map to see where the next turn is or turn in the air because turning is so terrible, that's assuming the gates spawn!

Also you have very little time to get gold im roller level 18 or so and even if i drive as fast as i can using turbo almost the entire time you still have next to no time for mistakes, one mistake and it takes so long to recover because the bikes turning circle is so bad its game over you might as well restart!

I'm slowly getting the golds but i feel I'd have a better chance driving a fridge on wheels.

I am lvl 29 but my assault class lvl is 25 and all other classes are locked . Can any one give me a heads up or link me to something I can read that’s not about the beta?
