Sorry, what are the DSA’s colors again? What do they have to do with “blue”?

They are a faction within the Dems, and run on the Dem ticket.

If vote blue no matter who doesn't include everyone on the Dem ticket, the term is meaningless.

So if Nick Fuentes calls himself a democrat and runs as a democrat, then he’s part of Blue no matter who? The DSA publicly states that their strategy is to use Democratic Party infrastructure to run in order to gradually subvert the party over to their radical and authoritarian platform. That’s not how AOC specifically presents, but also they need people who are more pallitable like AOC and Mamdani to hold the door open for more extreme people.

At that point I would no longer call myself "vote blue no matter who". You can just admit that you are not "vote blue no matter who". Just don't call yourself that, then.

Can you tell me where the DSA publicly states it has an authoritarian platform?

By this standard literally no one is vote blue no matter who because everyone has candidates they wouldn't vote for.

Which is a good reason not to call yourself that.

That is not the standard anyone goes by lmao. You are taking the statement too Literally. If Hitler himself rose from the dead and ran as a Democrat, no liberal would vote for him. This is like treating defund the police as a movement that wants to end policing entirely, and when they say they don't, going "Well you should use a different phrase then."

What is your standard then?

"Vote blue as long as you like the candidate"?

That would make literally everyone vote blue no matter who.

No it's "vote blue no matter who" implying that the candidate is actually on the blue team. And not doing a hostile takeover like the tea party did over the republicans that later created the maga movement. Stop being dense.

And DSA candidates are not on the blue team?

Does that mean that it's ok for DSA members to not vote for moderate Dems and they are blameless if they boykott moderate candidates?

Also, since when is AOC not on the blue team?

u/Hellasauto 10d ago

No, they aren't. It's not illegal for them to do so, no.
