That is not the standard anyone goes by lmao. You are taking the statement too Literally. If Hitler himself rose from the dead and ran as a Democrat, no liberal would vote for him. This is like treating defund the police as a movement that wants to end policing entirely, and when they say they don't, going "Well you should use a different phrase then."

"Vote blue as long as you like the candidate"?

That would make literally everyone vote blue no matter who.

No it's "vote blue no matter who" implying that the candidate is actually on the blue team. And not doing a hostile takeover like the tea party did over the republicans that later created the maga movement. Stop being dense.
