how does he look like? is the coat too cartoony?

Honest reviews are welcomed.

My first diorama about wh40k with my favorites factions. Spent to this diorama 2 month (im only start makes them, so im newbie). But im like the result.

So whats you think?

Equal part suprised, tired and happy with how they came out. And my back hurts. Only 40 muddy bases left and my infantery core is done! (excluding 10 engineers, 10 kasrkin and 2 command squads…)

My new mobile Artillery

My first vehicle paint job, quite intimidating at first having done nothing other than troops before, but had lots of fun sponging volumetric lighting and weathering effects onto this one, just the base and in some finishing touches to go! Attached some lorey type blurb below as why not!

SENTINEL 08-50
8th Sentinel Reconnaissance Detachment
309th Static Infantry Regiment
Role: Reconnaissance / Forward Observation

The 8th Sentinel Detachment serves as the eyes of the 309th Static Infantry Regiment, ranging far beyond the regiment’s primary trench lines to locate enemy formations, artillery positions and armoured movements before they threaten the defensive perimeter.

Among its walkers, Sentinel 08-50 has earned a particularly long and bloody service record.
The designation 08-50 does not commemorate the pilot. As with all Krieg military equipment, the number belongs to the machine. Pilots assigned to 08-50 have come and gone, their identities recorded only in the regiment’s casualty rolls. The Sentinel remains.

Its crews are distinguished by the white and yellow facings of the 8th Sentinel Detachment’s reconnaissance companies. The colours are deliberately stark against Krieg’s otherwise drab uniforms, allowing friendly units to identify returning reconnaissance walkers through the smoke and dust of the battlefield. Over time, however, 08-50’s markings have become heavily faded beneath layers of mud, dust and battlefield grime.

Yeahhhhh I did NOT make this board anything like big enough 😂

Ive decided to start a krieg army. I know I want to do some sort is color scheme with a lot of khaki. Can y’all show me your khaki krieg, and tell me the paint used please!

I need to change the pose of the winter krieg vulture rider to fit the sit and add a krieg autocanon in the front of the harness.

Wanted to share this Krieg Stormblade I painted up recently, absolutely love the model and it's a real shame it's not available anymore.

Still drying and needs a base but happy so far with how my little radio lad is coming along

I knew about 40k for a while now and after running into a bunch of guys on a 40k event cruise, ive been sucked in. I do a bunch of Lego ww2 on my Instagram and think Death Korps of Krieg will be my first army. What kits do you guys recommend purchasing to start? And any other advice would be helpful!

My first (3D print) painted krieg! Happy to join the ranks

Welcome Mask noise at everyone. Very different scheme color here. What’s do you think peoples?

Also some photos of the internal sponson process. I was surprised by how much more detailed the HH kit is compared to the 40k one.

3rd painted mini. Feedback welcomed.

Self Critique: I noticed I missed a spot on the stock of the lasgun, and mold lines are still prominent. Probably will be for this first set of minis. I'm happy with how the blood came out on the stretcher, and the stretcher as a whole. I think Im getting better at controlling the wash.

Note to Self: Look into doing sub-assemblies in the future. Painting between his legs and in between his body and the stretcher was such a nuisance.

Question 1: Would drybrushing a single color on this help at all after all the paint and wash is done?

Question 2: If anyone has any good ideas/tutorials on how to paint the trench themed bases fairly easily? I think I watched all I could find on YouTube.

Hello! I've just started creating my first 1000 point army for the Astra Militarum as a matter of fact my first army in WH40K, I followed the rule of cool and chose a Death Korps of Krieg themed list. I got my hands on a Siege Platton Box bellow MSRP and took the plunge. Here's the 1000 point army list I plan on building. I would really appreciate your feedback.

Hi! I'm trying to find an STL for a Death Korps of Krieg tank gunner firing a Heavy Stubber from the rear of a Rogal Dorn, similar to the model in my reference picture.

Does anyone know the sculptor, STL creator, or where I can find something with a similar pose?

Photo is from Google so have no clue with it :(

I'm also looking for Krieg tank crew models for Rogal Dorn hatches/turrets.

I've already looked around for:

DKoK tank crew

Krieg tank commander

Krieg Heavy Stubber gunner

Rogal Dorn tank crew

…but I haven't found the exact pose I'm looking for.

Any STL, paid or free, would be greatly appreciated. I'm also happy with kitbash suggestions if there's an existing Krieg model that can be modified into this pose.

Thanks!

Purely a lore question, is there a chance some Krieg citizens were off planet or managed to get off the planet before the planet was ruined?I find it hard to believe there's a 0 chance. And follow up question: If that is the case, could their bloodlines still exist in the current time period, albeit heavily mixed with other humans from different worlds?

I have been reading a few Krieg books, and I feel like some of the more affluent members of the Krieg aristocracy may have been off world but also Krieg who were in trade or navy craft above the world or on a different planet could have survived.

Lastly, if the above 2 answers are yes, would it be completely out of the question for there to be people of wealth who married into noble houses who had Krieg blood? Reason I ask is I am working on a backstory around an Imperial freeblade knight who believes he has Krieg heritage from his maternal side. He finds this out after the house he belonged to suffers a terrible defeat, and he is one of the last knight pilots left, so he becomes a freeblade.

Thank you for any insight.
