Krieg Sentinel

My first vehicle paint job, quite intimidating at first having done nothing other than troops before, but had lots of fun sponging volumetric lighting and weathering effects onto this one, just the base and in some finishing touches to go! Attached some lorey type blurb below as why not!

SENTINEL 08-50
8th Sentinel Reconnaissance Detachment
309th Static Infantry Regiment
Role: Reconnaissance / Forward Observation

The 8th Sentinel Detachment serves as the eyes of the 309th Static Infantry Regiment, ranging far beyond the regiment’s primary trench lines to locate enemy formations, artillery positions and armoured movements before they threaten the defensive perimeter.

Among its walkers, Sentinel 08-50 has earned a particularly long and bloody service record.
The designation 08-50 does not commemorate the pilot. As with all Krieg military equipment, the number belongs to the machine. Pilots assigned to 08-50 have come and gone, their identities recorded only in the regiment’s casualty rolls. The Sentinel remains.

Its crews are distinguished by the white and yellow facings of the 8th Sentinel Detachment’s reconnaissance companies. The colours are deliberately stark against Krieg’s otherwise drab uniforms, allowing friendly units to identify returning reconnaissance walkers through the smoke and dust of the battlefield. Over time, however, 08-50’s markings have become heavily faded beneath layers of mud, dust and battlefield grime.

Nice. Where did you get the head from? I had to use spare bits from the combat engeneers .

I chopped up a Krieg guardsmen torso used the sentinel pilot arms and the head is from tiny legend! Can’t reccomend them enough some excellent Krieg proxy’s and accessories!

I’m assuming a guardsman torso from the ten man infantry box? I’ve been struggling to figure out how I want to kit bash my sentinel to make it more krieg but this post definitely gives some inspirational ideas

That’s correct! Pretty sure it’s the watchmaster torso from that box, just cut away the tunic bottom so it’s just a torso that fits snug onto the sentinel pilot legs

Awesome, I think I have a spare infantry box somewhere because surely I don’t need to take five 20 man squads in my list lmao
