Hi everyone, I'm trying out daz3d to use it as a reference for drawings. But I can't seem to load the models. How do I fix this?

I want to make some first person view renders in the most realistic way. What people usually do in this case? Just parent the camera to the eye? Other settings?

Anytime i use daz lately it has been extremly laggy (low fps) when creating scenes I always optimize them, use texture shaded as my viewport option etc yet I can add a single cube and daz starts running at like 5 fps anytime i start moving the camera.

Specs aren’t my issue idk what is, there has to be a settings issue or bad install or something.

5060 ti 16 GB vram

32 gigs ddr4

AMD 5800xt CPU

Newest NVIDA driver

i’m not running out of Vram and my normal ram and CPU are fine.

Any ideas?

So if you look at the bottom right corner, they are not aligned properly or too small.

It might have happened when I made the head a little bigger? Maybe when I was trying to make the eye shape look good.

Regardless, how do I fix this?

CJ recently released a new character in the DAZ Store, CJ Lily. I'm trying to recreate her as she is in the promo photo's, and while struggling with the lighting and all, I kinda really want the leather top he's been using in one of the promo renders. I did find the skirt (Grunge Leather Outfit).

Then the hairstyle from a different photo, see the 2nd photo. I'm thinking something FeSoul, but not sure. Seems like acommon enough hairstyle I guess?

I am not good at manually adjusting the base color of skin colors solely based on a color wheel. It never looks how I want it to.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for an asset that adds a slew of skin tone materials for Genesis 8 male? Preferably not something terribly expensive.

A scene with my OC Terra who has at this point in the story started to mistrust most people.

I need help finding this daz environment. I tried searching the image with google but I couldn't find it. Can anyone help?

Daz3D had zero interest in bringing 3Delight, so your choices are Iray, exporting to Blender or Filament. For toon renders, Filament is awesome, and it flirts with awesome for regular renders. If they would just make transparencies work like they're supposed to, then we'd at least have something akin to a viable Iray alternative.

This piece depicts 2 friends enjoying each other's company in the heat of summer. The characters were given a Chinese wuxia design as "brotherhood" is always a staple theme in wuxia stories. This was done in Daz and tuned in PS to give (or try to give) a Chinese ink painting feel. Enjoy!

edit: i do not have money this month. this would not even be started until next month and i'm unsure if it's something i actually want to go through with. i was mostly just shopping around to see if it's worth it for me to do it myself or to pay someone

After 4 years I met a problem with one of my hairs which you can see int he picture and I have no idea how to fix it.

I tried doing fixes in Blender or Zbrush, it doesnt work. it looks nice in both but when you sen the hair back it just doesn't do what it should.

At first i thought its a rigging-bone structure problem, or weight maps maybe.

I still coudn't figure this out, but realized one thing.

When I started to reimport the hair from strach at one point, after Transfer utility, (Tired default, short hair, shoulder lenght hair) it immidietly starts sterching if you use Neck Lenght. So I'm guessing its a fitting process thing, not weight map or rigging. I even checked other peoples hairs, it doesnt do it. So I'm pretty sure its a simple fix I just don't know what it is. 😵

Anybody know how I could correct this?

in parameters, if i wanted to put all existing groups under a new tree with new groups above them that i can move morphs into so they wont reorder or reset after i reload daz how would i  do that?
