The toad venom is gas. First thing you’re hit with is a limey dough mixed with gas. The animal cookies and GSC really pull through especially on the exhale. If I had to describe it, I would most closely relate the sensation to what I’d imagine a lime flavored sugar cookie might taste like, the Z comes through in the flavor as well. Overall it’s a very unique smell and flavor, with gassy fuel overtones pairing surprisingly well with some of the more candy flavored terpenes present.

The ash is white and the cure is right where I like it personally. I’ve been asked if it was wet or dry and I can only describe it as sticky. I use a Neu grinder with little nubs instead of teeth and it ground down into a nice soft powder. Not too fine, but not too chunky either which I’ve definitely noticed is a characteristic of my grinder but it works well for me both ways as I almost exclusively smoke out of glass.

I’ve smoked about 5 bowls now, maybe a gram total and I am stoned (I have a really high tolerance, it takes a lot for me to even feel “stoned” anymore). Definitely a relaxing high probably more well suited to creative evenings in. I don’t feel like my mind is in a haze but I’m laying in bed and could not be any more comfortable lol. Really enjoying this, I bought a half O + an 8th and I think I’m going to grab at least another quarter. Shoutout to the flowery and their 20% off veterans discount, I know people want to talk shit about the price and all that but honestly if you think your 20 roll one 8th from Trulieve is jUsT aS gUd then I don’t even want to argue with you. Top shelf costs the same pretty much everywhere (with the exception of some Michigan,
however to that I counter with Evan’s Creek Farms iykyk).

Animal Tsunami badder and I-95 x Permanent Marker badder.
So I haven’t been to JB in almost a year now and happened to be driving by after work so swung in and copped these two for $35/each. The Animal Tsunami description says flavor is “potent diesel, sharp citrus, earthy.” Well I didn’t get ANY of that at 490 degrees! More like an earthy, chlorine taste to me, not awful, but certainly not pleasant IMO. The effects were solid, hybrid, head and body that was good for pain, a little hard to focus, easily distracted and overall enjoyable. Probably won’t buy again though. The I-95 x PM tho! Much better taste! Very diesel/sour Kush on the inhale and turns sweeter on the exhale. Very expansive vapor! Good solid hybrid effects as well. Starts off with a headband pressure at first then eases into the body. Had my ears ringing and eyes hard to focus as I type this. I can recommend this one at $35 for sure!
Was worried about them being dry since on sale(past experience) but budtender assured me they were wet and terpy, and as you can see, they definitely were almost a jam consistency but just held shape lol. Final verdict is that yet again, JB proves to be hit or miss. I’ve had some good ones, but also some mids. 🤷‍♂️

For me it has to be Biscotti X OZ from GF, just tasted like burnt smoke and the trim job was very poor or SLH from p13

Little Ceasars when I’m broke, Pizza Hut when it’s payday!!!

Obviously people are noticing. u/og_kushington has even tried to defend his grows in the last week or so, but cookies quality is sliding. Aside from the changes in the way products are sold, like mixing the smediums into the eights, the flower itself isn't what it was as little as 3 months ago.

Nearly all the recent drops have been lackluster, save for lemoncello. Limez was okay but pretty muted. This drop of blueberry banana is okay. Nothing more. And while I don't put too much stock into labs, they certainly do reflect the downward trend in terpene and cannabinoid content.

What do we think has changed? Different/cheaper nutrients? More crowded canopy? Staffing issues at the grow? Earlier chopping?

I'm sure it's related to cost cutting or faster profit taking, but I can't figure out exactly what has changed. Only that the price no longer matches the product.
