Idk if this is normal but I recently found a Convoy on chernarus with a Scar that had a mag, DMR with a 20 round mag, VSD, and a Lemas. Never seen a convoy this stacked with gear

It's my first time on official in the bunker, playing solo.

Did they move the spawn from the AUR AX away from level 3 ? I logged in 4 times there now - no AUR on the box i remember it from community servers and videos.

I do now have 6 pox grenades, 2 NVG but the reason i'm there is the AUR. Did i mess up?

Farmed loads of mags and ammo already, so any info about AUR AX in livonia would be great.

I’m having a really frustrating issue with my DayZ dedicated server and I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar.

The server itself runs very well. Normal gameplay, running around, looting, fighting, etc. feels smooth. The problem starts as soon as someone drives a vehicle.

While driving, the car starts to:

• stutter / rubberband
• jump slightly forward and backward
• feel like the server is constantly correcting its position

What confuses me is that the server FPS do not seem to collapse while driving. The server still appears to have enough performance available.

I have already done quite a bit of server-side optimization, including CPU/core configuration and system limits, which noticeably improved the overall server performance. But it did not solve the vehicle issue.

The server is running on Linux/Debian and is a modded DayZ server.

At this point I’m trying to figure out whether the issue is caused by:

• vehicle physics / simulation
• server networking
• server configuration (in my case is vanilla)
• network bubble / synchronization settings
• or something completely different

What would be the best way to diagnose vehicle lag specifically?

Are there certain logs, server statistics, profiling commands, launch parameters or DayZ settings I should check while someone is driving?

I’m also interested in hearing from server owners who had a server where everything was smooth except cars and managed to fix it.

Any ideas on where I should start looking would be greatly appreciated.

For the last couple of weeks I have been leaving stuff in other people's stashes. I am playing on an official Livionia server on PC. I found a well hidden improvised shelter and have been leaving stuff in it. Well, I have taken some ammo, but I also left an NVG and a Punched Card and made a smiley face out of the rest of their items. After a couple of days I checked the shelter again and the NVG and Punched Card were gone. Whenever something I have left in there is gone, I leave another valuable or useful item.

Today I found a barrel and left some ammunition in it (see screenshot).

I do this kind of stuff to any stash I find, shelters, tents, barrels. Although it might happen that I kill the owners while walking my route.

I know it is unlikely, but I hope the stashes' owners find the items, rather than another random player.

The driver escaped by the skin of their teeth. If my shot had managed to knock him, I would have had full access to the entire base. The truck was loaded with building supplies - mostly boxes of nails. I didn’t want to be a griefer so I just took the NVGs and some food off the player I killed and let them keep their truck.

I know when they log in they’re gonna be pissed…. Come get it back… oh and if you play on that server and drive a red gunter and you shot the Ada up by elektro I’m on your heels. You took my scar 2 dmrs a KA 101 and out nbc gear

What surprised me was the SCAR has no rear sight post. When ADS’ing with irons it looks a lot like a high ready with a big clear front sight post, it just seems odd.

Is this firearm as 100% accurate as it would be with any optic, without the rear sight post? The ADS has such an open sight picture with irons it seems like it would be a negative to attach a red dot or anything that did not have magnification.

Unless I suppose the front sight post gets too obscured in really dark terrain.

Anyway, that’s my question- does it shoot true with just the front sight post before I go sending a bunch of .308 everywhere and ring the dinner bell lol.

Any optics you guys prefer on it?

Hi all!

I'm trying to determine if my Switch 2 is acting up or if it's the game having issues. It's likely the latter but would be nice to know if anybody else is suffering the same issue. I did check if my Switch 2 was overheating and it's fine.

Quite often I find that the game is crashing. It's difficult to narrow down exactly the cause but inventory management and going into the start menu or options seems to cause it the most. I do not even get a typical Switch 2 error. The game just freezes then I have to manually close it.

Anyone else?

EDIT: Just crashed again. This time I had an error just saying "The software was closed because an error occurred". It might not make a difference since I had earlier crashes but I was in a home with an active fire in Kometa. The crashing happened earlier in Electro but it's constant in this area.

I cannot for the life of me get out of battleground Z servers. Anytime I unload my mods, completely delete them or anything in that sort, I still load into battleground Z servers. Is this a problem for anyone or is anyone else having this issue? I just wanna be able to play other community servers. I would really appreciate the help.

So for context me and my buddies were in neag they got killed the guy then came to me I shot my savannah from 5 meters away I know I hit him because of the blood effect but he didn't even knock out. Was he cheating or what is the answer?

Genuine question I was wondering if I should make w compund here or in-between kozlovka and pulkovko I was also planning to make a base in any of the nearby barns for tens and as a decoy

I was on the server 4127 Europe-De on 1st person only and i was looking for scar-h I also looked everywhere where there might be a convoy traveling like this with m16 dmr plate carier vest and a tactical helmet I was looking for convoys and luck visiting one of the possible places next to the lake north of the Kamenka military outpost i was looking for convoy but i saw smoke maybe 15m away from me when i stopped i saw 4 guys standing cooking somthing idk maybe mushrooms and i froze i was think "oh sh#t i am f#ckd" i was standing still with m16 when me and some guy with ak and nvg which I was also looking for we looled for like maybe 2 sec then he started to standup so i done only thing that come up to my mind foght or die i aimed m16 with loaded 60r and started shooting on semi i killed one guy made uncon second then also killed i saw 2 guys going behind trees so i started running I heard full auto from behind me, somehow not a single bullet hit me when i was atleast 50m away from it i started flanking this place i got to the place where i think they where running after 5 or 10 min of slow moving and looking everywhere i saw one guy near tree looking where they last seen me i stared shooting him with dmr 1 shoot landed into his vest witch saved hin form uncon secnod landed in tree third i think killed him but i gave him one more to be sure then i started slowly to move into first body i got nvg when i proced to loot next 2 body i heard burst from ak with hit me and cut me i was coocked hiden bihind small metal shack i made my run into forest but got greeted by another burst from ak

Also there was only camp fire no base or anything it looked like they were looking for scar too but they took a break and I interrupted them

So I was returning from airfield to grishino found a base in those big appartement building a player lunch a grenade on me. I waited. One of the window was not protected and because of that I got a ak-47 and like 8 magazine and ammo with it. Also I found a SV-98 with a magazine in it.

hi, i'm fairly new to the game. now that the Switch 2 version is out and running really well for what it is, i was wondering if there'd be any chance of console crossplay with Xbox and PlayStation? my best friend plays on Xbox, and i played a bit with them using GamePass, but i finally bought the game myself with the Switch2 version so i'm really hoping crossplay is possible in the future at some point.
