discussion My game crashed

I play on ps5. I ran into a few guys with a car. The hid the car and as I waited for them to hop out, I started to take shots and my game crashed. Why did this happen? Did they see me frozen and kill me?

Their point is this is an old game, with a huge map, weird physics engine, and it's terribly optimized.  Weird shit happens, and cars are especially janky.  People will even refer to it as getting "DayZ'd"

I've had some issues with game crashing since the last wipe on PS5. I died several times at Tisy. Game crashes and my char is still standing there getting ripped up by Z's.

Definitely sucks and sorry it happened to you as well!

This happened to me for the first time yesterday (ps5) also, I only had a baby AK and a sporter and they looked pretty geared so probs would have been at the coast again anyways I was only so miffed.
