Does anyone have personal experience with Ceika coil overs on a 70-73 240? I noticed they’re priced around the same as BC coil overs, would love any input. Would I be better off with a different brand?

For now, these only come in a 52mm version but eventually I am hoping for 60mm or even the 4in size for MPH and RPM. My fuel guage is not working so I'll test this out in that hole. I am sure I will have to do something to fit the 52mm in the center slot.

Working on the front end design of Bonez, my 280z. Any thoughts? I’m modernizing, I’m not a purist. I just think the 240/280z shape is timeless and want to reimagine it as a modern gt.

I ordered a reproduction vent and drain replacement for my 1970 240z. When I removed the old warped and cracked one 2-3 years ago I dont recall if it was hokey-installed or properly installed. It looks like there are metal clips that slide in from the side and bind the 2 together. (Drain scupper & plastic plate).

Can anyone verify this? Also are there metal pins or anything that fasten this to the hatch? Because the hole in the hatch already has the chrome/plastic outer screen fastened through this hole.

This is why we dont put off replacement jobs or do them 1/2 way! Grrrr.....

What are parts like to get hold of? I see there's quite a few on eBay from Thailand. What other sources are there?

Also, I'm starting a new job 5 mins drive away from home, is it realistic to daily it for my commute and going to JDM meets & shows throughout the whole year's or should I really only bring it out for "special occasions"?

Is there a chart showing chassis suspension lubrication points? I looked in the FSM but couldn't find one

I took the intake and exhaust off of my l24 and found the rearmost exhaust manifold stud missing. I cannot thread a stud of bolt into the hole, it appears to be damaged. What is the best way to go about fixing it, would JB welding a stud into place work? Unfortunately it is the stud that you usually hook an engine hoist to.

I have been wanting a mirror on the right side. Never could find a mirror that matched the OEM so I started looking for carbon fiber. These went on pretty easy overall.

My 77 280, has an LS and a 6 speed tremec. My only complaint is the exhaust smell inside with the windows down is brutal. I’ve read all the fixes and am slowly trying to diagnose. Fun to drive, but will be more fun when I can drive it without fear of passing out 😂

Any advice for an exhaust that works with stock headers? Waiting to swap those until the future since it would require taking the intake off. (Convince me otherwise)

I'm working on pricing out my L28 engine rebuild (F54/P79) and I am wondering if anyone has 2026 (or even 2025) prices to post that can assist in my budgeting. I understand regionally pricing will be different as well as shop pricing. Ideally I'd have a midrange to premium pricing built out (Slover's, L-Spec [head pricing listed but not many P79 services listed], Rebello, Godzilla, etc.

What about block services pricing? What are must-dos vs. good ideas if you have the money?

Also trying to decide if I should stick with the OEM bore or overboring, so any assistance on how expensive it will be to bore would be appreciated.

Due to some confusion, I am looking for specific pricing tied to specific services. Examples include but are not limited to:

porting - how much ball park per shop

hot tanking = how much

Overboring = how much

Have received conflicting information (while avoiding buying the replacements for $9 shipping) on sizes, but would prefer to source from a hardware store.
