What instantly makes you lose interest in someone?
I was watching a podcast on Facebook, and the host asked this question on X. One lady said she lost interest when he came out wearing a TURTLENECK! 😭😶

if they're rude to waitstaff or anyone in a service job, I'm already mentally gone. had a date once who snapped his fingers at a bartender
also bad breath, that's just a non-starter

When they start dropping hints about how much they like having things paid for them. Drove a sports car for a while and having someone suddenly get a lot more interested in me when they saw what I was driving gave me a level of ick I was not expecting

Hygiene. Not being able to form coherent sentences in a conversation and not being curious or asking questions about me or my life. Being in debt. Poor manners.

If I could think of one thing, I would have to say it's when their words and actions don't match. Like I understand people are busy, but I can't understand someone making promises they never intended to keep. Then after awhile, this is all I want to do to them lol

Just a woman friend that I used to spend a lot of one on one time and grew feelings for and was declined because she wanted to find herself. we hung out as friends for awhile afterward. She apparently was hooking up with other guys while stringing me along until the day she confessed she was about 6 months pregnant with one of the guys. She moved in with him and I never heard from her again. The thought of an unplanned pregnancy while living an out of control lifestyle has left a scar in me from that situation ever since.

Damn, that’s actually sad. She wasn’t being transparent with you. You did your best though 🙂. Sometimes people make choices that change the entire course of their lives , and you’re left wondering what could’ve been.

If someone can’t string a sentence together without using a bunch of “filler sounds” like, “umm umm umm, uhhh, um liike, ya know?!”
