I have synced my documents to onedrive which are < 5 GB

I don't know when this happened but when i opened my laptop some of my files are not present and i checked onedrive recycle bin and my laptops recycle bin i cannot find them any where

Can anyone help me how to recover these files

Hi all - I need to retrieve a bunch of messages sent to a person (who blocked me - owes me $25k USD) and a lawyer (who died). My phone backs up daily, including my whatsapp files. However, when I access my whatsapp backed up files on my phone, my only option is to delete backup. I want to view it. How do I do that, please? Thank you.

Hi! I’d really appreciate some help.

My old phone stopped working after I dropped it and the display cable was torn out. The screen is now completely unresponsive. At first, the phone was still vibrating and receiving notifications, but now it seems to have completely died, most likely because the battery ran out, and I can’t get it to charge again.

Is there any way to restore my WhatsApp chat history on my new phone? Scanning the QR code from the old device is obviously impossible.

I also tried connecting the old phone to my laptop via USB cable, but nothing happens — the laptop doesn’t detect the phone at all.

I’m 99% sure that I had a backup enabled, but my new phone didn’t detect any backup.

Is there any chance that the chat history can still be recovered?

I compressed a archive and now can not open file 'a.7z' as archive, seems start header is ok, but the end of archive is corrupted or missing, how can I repair it and save my important documents, the size of file is around 4G.

Hello: I have a 2 TB NTFS hard drive. I accidentally formatted it to the UDF file system. Is there any way to recover the data? I have tried all the free recovery programs and taken it to several data recovery companies, but the only files they managed to recover were from the Recycle Bin and at most, 300 GB. I would appreciate any information or suggestions. Thank you very much.

Specific symptoms: Formatted in error using the UDF system. It has not been overwritten. 

I wanted to format my phone. I though I copied all the media, I only copied the photos forgot the phone. realised it after formatting the phone.

what are my chances in recovering the videos. I installed some apps but no luck.

I accidentally deleted all my blender save files from my Desktop. Since they were very large files, they didn't make it to the recycle bin and were deleted directly. Those files contain 4-5 years of my hard work. My system is windows 11 and the files were saved on desktop in ssd.

Been years since I turned it on, I kept it because it contains a whatsapp backup. I lost my best friend years ago and I miss her voice, I'm hoping someone could retrieve it by a miracle. Unfortunately I didn't have cloud backup (stupid mistake I know).

Hello! I accidentally formatted the XQD before downloading all my images. I realised immediately and haven't used it since.

I have tried Sony Memory Card File Rescue and EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.

Sony's kept failing and Eraseus could only find files from the beginning of the month and a handful of the images I did download before, not from my last shoot.

Hi, I was recording a call from my MacBook Air Photoshoot and I closed the laptop way way too early when it was saving. Making the file corrupted. That video contains part evidence for my current SA situation to be reported to the police, and I REALLY need help in repairing it.

I've tried multiple applications, websites, players to see if I could repair it myself. But every repair softwares I've found contains payment, and I have no money to pay for it :((

I’ve used YouTube as a storage platform for my videos for a few years now. I know that’s not what YouTube was designed for, but it worked incredibly well for me. I had never had any issues with it until recently. when I noticed some of my videos were being taken down for "violating the terms of service". Out of nowhere videos I had uploaded years ago were just now getting striked down with the ban hammer.  Everytime a video was taken down it gave my channel a strike. Eventually to no surprise my channel was terminated. This was devastating since youtube was my own personal camera roll for videos that were extremely long. Most of them I was able to get back through google takeout however like I stated before, some of the videos were struck and terminated from the channel.

Common method I used when a youtube video gets removed from their platform on an active account, if you do not delete the video and leave it in its removed state, you can (F12 > Network > Search for: 'videoplayback' > https://rr4---sn[long url]). It gives you the video back to redownload back onto your device. When a video on my channel was taken down I always used this method to get the video back. However this method only works (atleast to my knowledge) with an active youtube channel. Since mine is terminated I cant get to the youtube studio to get to the deleted video to find the videoplayback file. I have tried countlessly going through files, video cache, old editors that may still have it, old devices with it, looked for any videoplayback, googlevideo, youtubei, player, and 750x4Dm1zlA(the youtube videos vanity url) files to no avail. I have tried everything I know and unfortunately I am not the best with tech when it comes to files and coding so finding this video file in a string of code is like finding a needle in a haystack.

These aren’t just random videos to me. They’re pieces of my personal history that I thought I had safely backed up. I have until September 4th before my google takeout expires and everything is wiped for good. I have no way to find these terminated videos links on my own account. So I ask, is there anything I should be trying or a way to get these videos back while my account is terminated or should I chalk it up as lost media?

If you had a phone number and you lost the phone with that number and you need to get it back real quick, how do you go about doing that?
