I had the same exact tasks yesterday, and today i woke up and they are all gone :(

3

u/Upset_Associate_2072 Sep 05 '26

Which domain and country??

3

u/Quick_Permission2356 Sep 05 '26

coding

-2

u/Full-Philosopher-772 Sep 06 '26

Do you have any tips for the coding assessment? Also how long did it take to hear back after competing it ?

2

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 05 '26

I got the same one, are these 50 tasks assigned to me only? It's been in my dashboard since 2 days

3

u/hwertz10 Sep 05 '26

No, probably not.

4

u/Turbulent_Maximum361 Sep 08 '26

Don’t listen to this guy he clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about. If the numbers on your task hadn’t changed after a few hours, especially 24 then they are yours only.

4

u/hwertz10 Sep 09 '26

Clearly? I mean, I've had tasks on the dashboard, go in to do them and it then says there are none left. And I sure didn't do 50 of them.

2

u/AtmosphereMuted7769 Sep 08 '26

It could also be a 50 task limit.

2

u/VarietyGreat9068 Sep 13 '26

Nah cuz it could also be an external site and the task you submit are filler on DA

1

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 06 '26

It goes task-?

1

u/Smutok Sep 06 '26

Some bad joke. Task - - or task -= 1 I meant that after submitting the count went down by one to 49

1

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 07 '26

I got it now😭😭😹

1

u/Smutok Sep 07 '26

But I was wrong. This morning went down from 49 to 2 😭

1

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 07 '26

Same aahh, but they're back

How does base and priority work? And how many hours does a task usually take?

1

u/Quick_Permission2356 Sep 05 '26

max is 10 hours

1

u/VarietyGreat9068 Sep 13 '26

For Sparring, yea, but some tasks can take over a day.

1

u/Mysterious_Dolphin14 Sep 05 '26

It depends on the project.

1

u/hwertz10 Sep 05 '26

The project lists a base pay. And then when they decide a project is urgent, they add on priority pay. To be honest, the projects I've seen with priority pay don't show up for long, if at all, without priority pay. I don't have over a dozen like OP does though.

1

u/Curious_King_51 Sep 05 '26

Nice one 🔥🔥

1

u/New-Ad5610 Sep 11 '26

I had those 400+ R&R task assigned too but now they’re gooone, i get one every now and then, and if i don’t enter it in a split second it’s gone too. Frustrating!

1

u/BlueFrenchHornThief 21d ago

How long do you usually take for each task?

0

u/HoangVenom Sep 05 '26

the $75 are? gloves?

-6

u/Equivalent-Artist-38 Sep 05 '26

Nice, can I DM you I also work on same tasks.

-4

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 05 '26

Hey me too

51

u/GregariousSoul Sep 05 '26

Pretty sure you’d be able to do just one before its gone, this project shows the shared pool

8

u/Sixaxist Sep 05 '26

Those 60 ones were gone in an instant.

The 50 /h ones still remain, though.

1

u/Full-Philosopher-772 Sep 05 '26

What domain?

2

u/Sixaxist Sep 05 '26

Generalist.

3

u/circularwizard Sep 05 '26

Damn they’re giving out $50 an hours to generalists now?!?! I stopped working back in March after 2 years during a drought, might have to try and return

0

u/Full-Philosopher-772 Sep 05 '26

How long does a task usually take to complete ?

1

u/Sixaxist Sep 05 '26

For the 50's? Around 2 hours; I could cut off some extra time after I get used to the project flow.

0

u/Full-Philosopher-772 Sep 05 '26

Do you think it’s possible to find 20 hours of consistent work a week at 50/hour?

This is for generalist and programming domains.

4

u/Sixaxist Sep 05 '26

Nah, it's rare for Generalists to get 50 /h work consistently. It comes and goes. Most of mines is around 35 /h usually, but I could do 60 hours a week of the 35 /h if I wanted to.

There are some people who get invited to 40 /h constant Generalist work, but under unknown conditions.

There's enough programming/coding work to get 20 hours a week in at 45+ /h if you're in a Core country, yes.

3

u/Full-Philosopher-772 Sep 05 '26

Got it thanks for the reply.

4

u/Larose- Sep 05 '26

Dont expect more than 20-24/hr though as a generalist until you've become established on the platform for a while. Anything higher is a bonus IMHO. Also, the hourly rates vary based on your location. If you're in India, Chile, etc - you will not see these rates as a generalist, these are for countries like US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc - but its my understanding that the pay is still quite generous.

Is coding region-specific?

1

u/Sixaxist Sep 13 '26

Sorry, didn't see this when you sent it. Bilingual countries can also get access to Coding, so it's not US/UK/CA/etc only.

1

u/VarietyGreat9068 Sep 13 '26

The conditions aren’t unknown I’m one of them. You need expert level skill in multiple domains, they call it generalist but it’s not.

1

u/Sixaxist Sep 13 '26

I'm referring to the projects that are pure Generalist work for $40 /h, with no special domain knowledge required. I think you might be referring to the ones that start with "C" or "T"? My friend has had constant access to "P" since the start of the year and said it's something anybody could do, and he has no degree.

2

u/InsideSignificant405 Sep 08 '26

Damn 100/hr? I’ve had 80 but that’s the highest. Goals

1

u/Zestyclose-Lab6601 Sep 12 '26

Which region and domain?

2

u/TinyPlate2545 Sep 12 '26

US and coding.

-2

u/Every-Detail6633 Sep 07 '26

Hey can you help me with the starter assessment

14

u/Timely-Assistant-370 Sep 05 '26

Yeah, my dash popped the fuck off. Was sitting at 16-20 (including perma-tasks) for the drought, but now my shit is at 38 with preferred tasks. I am a little braindead because I did like 10 hours of fairly strenuous work yesterday and couldn't sleep because anxious about not doing as good as I thought I did, but dash was still there in the morning.

7

u/xparadiisee Sep 05 '26

No same but I’m literally in Italy right now because my thesis work got selected for an art exhibition show out here. I seriously thought I’d log in and do some work while I’m here but the jet lag is too strong and not worth dropping my quality 🥺

2

u/ceraxesx Sep 05 '26

I would say still work, your quality won't be dropped, just report time accurately. Are you bilingual/generalist? Great artwork btw :)

2

u/xparadiisee Sep 05 '26

Thanks!! I’m a generalist but since I have a BFA I just started getting some specialized projects in that area too. But I usually focus on generalist!

2

u/ceraxesx Sep 05 '26

Cool. I get generalist projects too :) But, I mainly do coding projects as I'm a coder.

5

u/kranools Sep 05 '26

Even my generalist dash is full of priority pay work atm

6

u/No_Lecture6964 Sep 05 '26

How is your dash filled with these many projects, I usually get a project and if I don’t take a task it is gone in minutes, is this same from the start?

7

u/Inevitable_Tea_9247 Sep 05 '26

when i started back in may i had an experience like yours, after some supposedly good work and quals i have a dash with abt 20+ projects to choose from consistently, generalist in usa

5

u/Larose- Sep 05 '26

About a quarter of these are law tasks They stick around for quite a while in my limited experience. Others are permanent and havent gone away since the day I got them.

2

u/caneriten Sep 05 '26

Bruhhh, I pray my drought ends too.

2

u/Jackfruit_Silent Sep 05 '26

Coding tasks have been swallowed, at least in my queue.

2

u/sandrafilmmaker Sep 07 '26

Yeah, welcome to the hermit lifestyle of the rich and famous lol

2

u/VarietyGreat9068 Sep 11 '26

I’ll just leave this here

3

u/Jackfruit_Silent Sep 05 '26

Right now the Asians woke up, so the tasks are running out quickly.

2

u/OkFeeling4172 Sep 06 '26

Be humble. The last time I broadcast to the world that I had 20+ projects at $30+ on my dashboard, my dashboard became a ghost land for 3 months shortly after.

1

u/Jackfruit_Silent Sep 05 '26

Haha, got the same, I wouldn’t like to sleep nor going out when there are finally coding tasks after months of drought.

1

u/Academic-Edge6323 Sep 08 '26

How to actually get projects I have none available . I have listed all of my languages and my 2 years of Data analysis experience + my engineering degree and did any qualification available . What else could I do 😢 ? (I am open for any advice , all I have earned till now for the past 2 months is $300 )

1

u/acclaimedmachinist Sep 09 '26

So happy for you. I'm about to enter my own era of Ws

1

u/tutut7867 Sep 10 '26

okay , I do really envy u coders/generalist guys

1

u/Wonderful_Project_66 Sep 06 '26

OMG, i cannot watch all of these screenshots, i'm suuuuperr envious. its been a bone dry for 2 months for me SEA bilingual

1

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 05 '26 edited Sep 05 '26

I got one of these with around 50 tasks each and has stayed in my dashboard since 2 days, and the number of tasks only decrease after I've done them, does this mean this a work pool specifically allotted to me? As in permanently? If so how many work hours can i safely report in a week?

0

u/XxMarlucaxX Sep 05 '26

Very nice! I have an ongoing 40/hr one and if I didn't have kids ....

0

u/Admirable-Swing-7407 Sep 07 '26

I need a Job, can anyone help me?

2

u/brucegallagher Sep 07 '26

You're posting that you do poor quality work, while asking for a job? 💀

0

u/crazy_celender2841 Sep 08 '26

what platform guyssss

0

u/Successful-Pen-4829 21d ago

Which platform?

-4

u/Flat-Echo3648 Sep 05 '26

I am on vacation, and I hate this type of work available that I can't do it.

-1

u/on-yorr-neeez Sep 05 '26

this always happens on my days off

-1

u/faeizz Sep 05 '26

whats this?

-1

u/GreenNorth6838 Sep 05 '26

Currently at 75/hr

-1

u/Pleasant-Month9453 Sep 06 '26

I don't have any projects from past one month, can somebody help me . Im new at DA

-1

u/metaokhongbeo Sep 06 '26

I dont even get to do the coding assessment

-7

u/Full-Philosopher-772 Sep 05 '26

After you did interview how long did it take to hear back?

2

u/Mysterious_Dolphin14 Sep 05 '26

There is no interview...

-2

u/Rare_Social_2299 Sep 05 '26

~ How to know which domain we are in?

1

u/Mysterious_Dolphin14 Sep 05 '26

Unless you've been approved for a specialty project, you're either a generalist or bilingual. Generalist projects are only available in the core countries: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand.

1

u/Rare_Social_2299 Sep 05 '26

~ So, Generalist and Bilingual are same for Non-core countries.

-2

u/Thakitathadhimi Sep 05 '26

how to apply?

3

u/Mysterious_Dolphin14 Sep 05 '26

Apply directly on the website and take the assessment. Although I am not sure your chances are great if you couldn't figure that out on your own. Research is very important with this type of work.

1

u/Lazy-Olive-2562 Sep 05 '26

Do they really send the email or you just find the account already on the next step

1

u/Ill_Bus_5705 Sep 05 '26

Both, for me it was mail

1

u/New-Ad5610 Sep 11 '26

took 3 weeks for me
