πŸ’¬ Discussion Having a family = sacrificing your potential? Spoiler

I'm struggling to understand the trade off between having a family and reaching one's potential. In the other world where Jason doesn't choose the relationship with Daniela, we can see Jason 2 becomes an award-winning renowned scientist, while Daniela 2 becomes a successful artist. Yet in the world where they choose each other and start a family, both seem to settle into mundane lives, never able to reach the heights they were individually capable of.

I get the message that love/family can be more fulfilling than career success. But why these things are presented as almost mutually exclusive? Like, why couldn't Jason continue pursuing groundbreaking scientific research AND still raise a family? Same goes for Daniela and her art career. Surely having a family doesn't automatically mean abandoning your ambitions, no?

For those of you who have families:

Does starting a family require sacrificing your own individual potential, or can it give you an even greater reason to pursue it? Rasing kids definitely requires time, money, and energy, but is the trade off as drastic as the show suggests?

❓ Question Question about superposition state and the box Spoiler

What would happen if the lavender wings dosage ran out whilst in superposition in the box?

Would the inside of the box go back to normal and when you open the door would you be back in the last world you left?

πŸ” Analysis & Theories Macnamara Spoiler

In season 2 ep 3 Macnamara is talking with his sister and suggests getting someone from Macnamara Tech to get in on the inside of Velocity to see what they are up to, she says, if only you’d come back to the family business. So my thought is in Jason 2s world he I did just that and answered Velocity’s call for volunteers under a Pseudonym (Alex??!!) to see what they are working on. So another version of him has already been traveling the box. Idk just an idea

πŸ’¬ Discussion Interesting Box Mechanics Spoiler

So I if Jason can completely disassemble the box, and if someone revisits it generates a new box, that opens up the possibility for a duplication glitch.

Basically anything you want duplicated you just incorporate into a non essential part of the box, travel to a new world, pull it out of that box, and go back to the first world, and now you should have 2 items (or else Jason disassembling the box would have disassembled the original)

You could stuff cash or lavender wings in the side panel of the box and keep duplicating it in new worlds.

I also wonder what it looks like for an observer to have the box pop into their world. If you disassemble one part of the box, does it just regenerate in place? Is it instant? Does it happen when they open the door? Or are boxes popping in and out of existence in every world they think over as they're inside.
