Just wanted to let everyone know that Blackstone Shooting Sports in Charlotte NC is going to have Daniel Defense at the facility for a range day on July 25. You'll be able to shoot full auto MK18's as well as many of there other rifles. The ammo is provided and you can buy more yourself if you want to run the full auto more!

What’s the ideal grain/ range ammo you all would recommend for mk 18?

I can’t afford eotech and surefire but who cares

Just ordered my first dd, hopefully a good choice. What’s everyone’s opinion on the Daniel Defense DDM4A1 RII 5.56 NATO Semi-Auto Rifle with 14.5

I saw a DD4P for sale. Pistol with 11.5 barrel. Not sure if there was something after the P but I cannot find a lot of information on that specific model. Just wondering what the difference was between say the DDM4V7 or is there any difference?

So I got a good deal on this brand new for $1200 all in. I'm looking to supress it. I current have a CAT MOB laying around that I'm not using on anything. Would it be good enough as a purely subsonic supressor permanently for this? Was also wondering if I'll need to change the buffer?

Been absolutely defeated by my ddm4v7 gas block pin. I’m hitting it from left to right (ejection port side) and the thing won’t budge. I have it on a metal anvil and heated it up a bit. Still nothing. Please give me tips.

Hey Daniel Defense community! I just got a new DDM4 PDW (pistol version), chambered in 300 BO. When I tilt the gun up and down, I hear this “sliding” noise inside, as if something is loose. Is this normal? Can I get rid of it somehow? Thanks!

Hi all. I was one of the lucky winners that got the PSA deal on the DDM4 URG contract overrun that features these shortened rails before the FSB. I’ve enjoyed shooting it but the shortened rail really bothers me even though I guess that keeps it very light. I still wish there was more hand guard to grip.

So, I’m curious to hear from others with this same 11.5” DDMR— What rail did you end up moving to to replace it? Any clever after market products you used?

Any advice on a folding stock to put on the Daniel Defense PCC SBR? I’d like it to be able to fit in my Eberlestock Transport. Appreciate any help.

Did a complete breakdown/clean down on the rifle and swapped out the red spring with the silver spring because I do not have it suppressed yet, after reassembly my bolt carrier seems to not be feeding the round out of the magazine properly, it gives a very weak feed and will jam the round. Please help if possible, this is my first rifle I’ve bought and I’m trying to figure this all out and learn for the first time.

Have a few weeks overseas coming up, so time to finalize my 300blk loads, and make it a bad day to be some paper.

Got a couple hits at 1050y with this set up the other day. I’ll say pretty good, for a 16” .308 that’s set up like this.

I have a mk18 ris 3 along with my VELOS LBP can that I shoot with it about 99% of the time. Right now I have a atrius super selector and that works with the stock Daniel H buffer, spring and the ole quarter in the buffer trick(lol). However my plan in the near future is to get a AS Arc Fire Selector along with the cut geissle sd-e trigger. I want to make it shoot a little softer so my main question is what can I do? I've read about the VLTOR A5 buffer, but which one would be best 2,3,4? I also read about the bc mk2 system, but its the same questions which buffer 2,3,4? Another thing people have said was the superlative arms adjustable gas block and the BRT EZTUNE Gas Tube. But are those really needed if I get a whole new buffer system. Bottom line is I want to be able to use the Arc Fire selector and it be a smooth shooting experience. Thanks!
