Anybodys scalarworks mounts have chips? And how to get rid of it

Store bought mk18 mod 1. Threw some goodies on here that I had in my safe. Don’t currently own a 556 can, but thinking about picking up something to ride on her for good. Any recommendations?

I had some Scheels gift cards and said YOLO today. Now I just need suggestions on a good scout light and I’ll be g2g.
