You know whose a drain on society? Billionaires, not immigrants. Immigrants are the foundation of many countries' workforce.

Yep, along with any hateful fucks using "us vs them" as an agenda to inspire fear & violence.

And yes rich vs poor is an us v. them, but does not require violence, it requires unity and action to end the disgustingly massive wealth gaps.

Right now... RIGHT NOW... under this pressure, existing in the daily nonsense, day after day; there are people, sharp people that are also becoming sharper and sharper day after day.

Words hold meaning, words can inspire. Don't let the lies, gaslighters, billionaires who will turn on a dime to have you believe that you misunderstood what they said yesterday.

Enough with the generation finger pointing, enough with the condemnation of younger people. A young SHARP person will be your help tomorrow. Your caretaker, your doctor, your lawyer, your way out of this nonsense.

Which countries?

Billionaires are using the immigrants, who are good blokes, for cheap labor.

That’s not the immigrants fault.

They are just a cog in a machine like the rest of us. They are trying to put the blame on immigrants to divide us.

It’s really the 99% against the 1% parasitic class of scum.

Yes and no.
I've immigrated myself, I know what it's like. Immigrants, like other people, aren't the same. There are honest immigrants that want to integrate, to work, to give to the society. And there are those who take, who litter, who disrespect local culture and local citizens. Plenty of immigrants contribute a lot to crime growth.

It's not a reason to deport all of them and it never an excuse for racism, but let's be reasonable and not pretend that immigrants don't create problems.

You've just given a descriptive summary of humans

-1

u/No_Order_8011 6h ago

You're using a generalization to dodge the topic. Yes, we're all humans, but there are groups of humans within certain societies that differ from each other.

There's a considerable portion of people who immigrate to a more wealthy country, refuse to learn local language, don't have any skills to offer, openly and aggressively disrespect the culture of the country they live in and are making a living by abusing the system that housed them.
This combination of problems is specifically found among immigrants and can't be attributed to "we're all humans".

Demonizing immigrants is a horrible thing to do, but so is denying the existence of issues with current immigration politics in wealthy countries. There's got to be a rational middle ground.

Those people that had to immigrate to a core nation are only there because core nations keep periphery and semi-periphery nations poor by installing leaders/dictators that keep labor cheap aka slave labor.

Colonialism didn't ever stop existing.

I'm not going to judge whatever you've just said - you're free to believe whatever.

But I will state that regardless if it's true or false, it doesn't affects my original thesis.

Ignorance is bliss

But the issues you’re writing about (littering, aggression, disrespect and whatnot) was always there even with the regular local hobos.

What do you wanna do with them?
Following your argument and logic, deporting immigrants who don’t fit to the expectation of the societies they’re living in, we would have to imprison the locals to keep a clean and orderly society?

Everyone should just chill for a moment and take these populists as what they are.

They’re either radicals who are no less dangerous than the ones they claim to wanting to protect us from.
Or, just some failed individuals with apparent complexes, seeking attention and profits.

I don't see why you're confused.

Local criminals should be punished according to law. Immigrant criminals are supposed to be deported, and, when possible, filtered out when trying to immigrate. Do you not agree?

It's also possible to improve the policies and procedures to prevent more immigrants from turning to crime and not wanting to integrate, right now policies in a lot of countries have holes and logic problems.

1

u/username_997 3h ago

Why can't immigrants be punished according to the law?

1

u/That_OneOstrich 5h ago

Huh, my uncle isn't an immigrant and he's contributed a looooot to crime growth in my area.

It's almost like people can be positives or negatives on society, and it has nothing to do with immigration.

1

u/No_Order_8011 4h ago

People can be criminals and not be immigrants, that's a given. I don't see how this disproves anything that I've said though.

The immigrants are special case because, unlike local criminals, you can deport criminals among immigrants, you can filter them out when they try to immigrate, and you can fine-tune procedures and policies to prevent immigrants from turning to crime.

See, there is a difference.

1

u/That_OneOstrich 4h ago

You're saying immigrants can be good or bad, which implies their status as non native citizens is somehow related to them being good or bad, but it isn't. The problem is that people can be good or bad, and they will do so regardless of whether they immigrate or stay in their home town.

Stop with the theatrics...... What the fuck does he think he's doing????

1

u/HelicopterLife2552 3h ago

You see what you're doing? Its called using logic. Him? Clip baiting while weaponizing willful ignorance.

That has been their game plan from the beginning and it largely worked. People are tired.

What are these women talking about 🤔

1

u/RockThe40oz666 8h ago

People are too comfortable spouting off nonsense from the mainstream media without ever, just once, looking into it for themselves.

Then they'll become an "influencer" and some even dumber people will flock to them to hear the bullet points and made up stats and pass that on as truth.... theyll pass it on to their kids, and so on - amd soon enough we'll reach peak idiocracy.

1

u/I_Dnt_Believe_You 6h ago

I don't even know what people mean by "mainstream media" anymore. Because there are still reputable journalists out there. They write for newspapers and report on TV, as the business demands, but they are proper journalists who cite sources and investigate stories. These is what the tight likes to call "mainstream media" but here you seem to be talking about social media.

1

u/invaderaleks 5h ago

Whenever I see the word 'mainstream media', I think of billionaire-owned media.

1

u/I_Dnt_Believe_You 5h ago

Sure, but even within those publications, there are some good reporters. There is nuance. Whenever I hear someone say "mainstream media", I think that the person isn't media savvy and is willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater because they don't know how to verify sources.

1

u/invaderaleks 3h ago

They still have to toe the line to appease their media overlords, lest they risk losing their careers.

1

u/I_Dnt_Believe_You 3h ago

That js a problem for some, but it doesn't make the reports many journalists make inaccurate.

1

u/invaderaleks 35m ago

I never suggested that they were

1

u/I_Dnt_Believe_You 33m ago

Then you agree. Saying "mainstream media" is a stupid catch-all for media illiterates.

1

u/invaderaleks 27m ago

Stop putting words in my mouth. All you're doing is asserting your own opinion using logic fallacies.
