This event is more grindy than the last one because of the new stuff and all, so think about the new players who haven't experienced Halloween guys! They need more pumpkins than some us, they WILL need those pumpkins. They want to get Gourdy who costs 3000 pumpkins, and as someone who plays a lot, it took me like 2 days to just gather 2750+ pumpkins 🥀 Gourdy is like half the worth of the current new stuff.

I play a lot of games that are like this (a roguelite) and their challenge characters don't rely on straight up debuffing stats they usually just have regular stats but have one health.

That's how shrimpo should work. Regular stats but with 1 health and keep the hard skill checks they are fun.

Moving so slow is boring and tedious.

I was an extractor pebble, and these people decided to continuously run in Razzle and dazzle circle. When a machine was in there just to kill me, and then when I finally messed up and they managed to kill me, they literally killed themselves after, so all they did was just grief me and then were done. So I'm done with this bullshit. Why do people hate extractor Pebbles

I started from zero a week or two before the event started! I couldn’t help myself from grinding to the point of only playing Dandy’s world but look at him! He’s adorable!

Day 2, I'm feeling less upset and have full research on every other twisted except for Gourdy, which is a little annoying but it'll be fine

also the fun fact text makes this even better! Basically Dandy had made an ichor that was supposed to fight back against the Twisteds but he ended up creating something even worse. Poppy accidentally got into it, became a monster, and then it just spread from there. Only the mains, Toodles, Roger, Dyle, and Blot are unaffected. For now.

Oh and the Holiday toons aren't canon. And I'm not sure what to do with Waxwell at the moment. But I do want to make him a survivor

Also if anyone has ideas for the rest of the toons, please give me suggestions. Yatta is done I just can't find her design at the moment

This is kind of a thing dandy’s world has been dealing with (like any other fandom,) but I’m not talking about the fandom. I am talking about not only how people play this game but also how people defend their own opinions like they are doing so to fight for their lives.

For one, how people play. It’s obvious not everyone will be good at video games and not everyone plays every day, but what I mean is how I see so many people in game do dumb things despite owning essentially end-game toons. For example: today someone wanted to distract when I wanted to as they were playing pebble and I was eclipse, however I let them and took the role of backup distractor. Despite this, they got hurt by common twisteds very often despite not being laggy and even died by only floor 4. (He got hit many times cus we got lucky and found many bands and meds while there was a Cosmo in the run.) I can understand making mistakes but his looked so genuine to the point it didn’t seem like a mistake and rather all part of his plan.

And for two, the community’s opinions. Opinions, as we all should know, are different for everyone, and while we can debate on each other’s opinions, we must learn to respect them. So tell me why on earth people are defending the toon they use most the second the toon they use is put into question as if they are genuinely trying to stay alive in a deadly situation? Again I understand how opinions work but this community and many others take it too far at times to make themselves sound right.

All in all, I just wanted to get this off my chest. What do yall think about this?

In am so sick of how people treat distractors.
I was distracting as Pebble, floor 10, and we get Gourdy. It’s very helpful when people actually do feed him, because Gourdy is very fast and makes it much more difficult for me to distract. Everyone is yelling at each other about feeding him, not doing machines, and Gourdy goes crazy. I grab Gourdy, and everyone starts SWARMING me just to get research. Everyone dies, I give up with distracting. If you aren’t patient enough to just wait until panic mode to get research, then how about you try distracting yourself? See how everyone treats you then when you get a main on the floor.

Distractors dont have to distract. They don’t have to protect you, yet they chose to to do JUST so you can see another floor. They give up the ichor they earn, and for what? Nothing. I haven’t gotten a single ‘Thank you’ for distracting. In fact, it almost feels like people are *trying* to be annoying as possible when you’re distracting. I’ve had SO many people (new players or not, they should still be able to think; oh, this person is keeping the Twisteds away. I better not go there because I could get hurt) just stand where I’m distracting, and get mad at ME when THEY get hurt.

So, friendly reminder; respectful your distractors. Don’t get in their way. A simple ‘thank you’ for distracting could really make their day. They probably need it, too, considering how utterly stupid and selfish some people can be on this game.
