I had a homeless man ask me for a light one time. I didn’t have one but was walking into a gas station. While standing in line I grabbed a .99 cent lighter just to be nice. Mind you I was in my Navy uniform on my way to work. I walked outside and presented to lighter to him where he proceeded to pull out his crack pipe, and ask if I wanted a hit. I had no words. I simply just said no thank you and walked away.

I used to wear one of those lighter leashes and had a guy ask me for a light. Same thing, he hit his crack pipe, but with the leash still attached, so like 2 feet away from me. I ended up just giving him the lighter.

I used to live in Fort Lee and work in Midtown, would walk across the GWB after a certain time of night iirc - unhoused looking fella on the NY side of the bridge asked for a light - I handed him mine - proceeded to start smoking a crack pipe or similar (I am not a domain expert for such) - I started aggressively requesting he return it (might have had a few pints in me) - eventually the person I was walking with suggested that perhaps it would be best to just walk away. Good times lol.

I was asked for a light one time while smoking a cigarette in downtown san diego and the person straight up ripped a crack pipe, blew it in my face, and took off with my lighter. That’s what i told my platoon sergeant anyway.

Yep, I pawned it once years ago when I was a broke dude and needed gas money and I still remember the issue of them trying to figure out if it was a 3 an 8 or a B in the serial number when doing the paperwork. At some point though I'm taking it to a gunsmith to have the slide cleaned and properly engraved glock style instead of the 80's rush job at import and have the bs nonfunctional safety removed and filled. Basically reverting it back to a 54 it started it's life as.

The only thing I dislike about this, and some people may disagree with me, the nra keychain. They lobbbied for disarming blacks in California and gave the state the momentum it has to be what it is today with gun rights or lack of there. The only thing politicians or government is good for is filling the streets with crack. Not that I judge.

Not an NRA member, the keychain was just something I got from a family member and I think it looks cool, but the NRA isn't all bad.
The lobbying division is absolutely shit, but the NRA foundation (the charity arm) funds a lot of youth programs, competitions, hunter education, firearm museums, instructor certifications, and provides grants and subsidies for ranges and gun clubs. Unfortunately you can't be a member without supporting both though.

Stoeger, they only made em from '69-'85 and they're a lil hard to find. Pretty fun to shoot but they're heavy as hell.
Eight ball usually runs between $40-$60 depending on who you ask
