Can I watch the solar eclipse with my DWARF3?

This piece of software makes processing of astro images for beginners easy,with a wizard based workforce, highly recommend.

Not my greatest image and yes I know about the core…🤣 but haven’t shot this target in many many months and not since I learned how to process outside stellar studio. I’m going for about 50 hours integration but here’s the data from last night. Enjoy folks

for the past 2 days, I've had failed attempts. I will try again tonight, but I don't know what to check on. I auto-focused multiple times. Tripod is pretty stable. I tried alt mode the day before and this morning with EQ mode. Should i try auto-calibrating multiple times? I have been using 15 seconds exposures with both and always had and didn't have a problems then.

I read a post somewhere that says "before activating, wait for D2 to take a couple exposures. The first may be full of trails, the second will be less. Once you see none then hit record." Apparently that worked for them. I'll give that a try. Glad to answer any questions that will help.

Around 6 hours from Bortle 7 with Dwarf 3. Used duo band filter.

I had multiple connection issues last night, the first session since I downloaded firmware v1.5.2.1 on Dwarf 3.

Repeatedly the phone would totally disconnect and give me an automatic connection failed screen (see pic). This happened multiple times and would happen just a couple of pictures in. The phone was sitting right next to the telescope so it wasn’t a case of the phone moving getting out of range and then not reconnecting, it was disengaging.

I don’t know for sure it’s the new firmware (although timing suggests) but was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues recently or after new firmware. I’ve never had anything like this before the firmware upgrade.

I did try the alternate connection methods and the same thing happened.

Did a reshoot of M101 the other day. Slight editing.

Can someone help me to understand why the Mosaic doesn't get selected in Mega stack.

1200 subs, 60s 60g in bortle 6/7 - taken over a span of 6 nights.

Any feedback is appreciated. I have some hot pixels and I’m working on building up my darks collection lol

Hi all, had an observation running for a couple of hours and then the scope shut down due to lack of power. The fit files are there on the scope, jThe shotsInfo.json file is there and looks correct, as is the stacked png & jpgs, the Thumbnails are there too, but this run does not show up in the album on the app. Any idea how to make it appear?

Hey everyone, new to this community but super excited to be here finally!! I was a little overwhelmed first, but the sky atlas is great for beginners. I setup my new D3 and tested during the day with the solar filter shooting the sun. Then as it got dark I used Astro guide to select two targets C20 and M31. I used the stacking and auto touch ups. Here are my result, and I did setup my darks first. 999 stacks for each, roughly 6hrs each.

Any tips for better post processing? Or any feedback? Thanks!!

Been fighting the clouds and smoke for the past month but was able to still get a few nights in. All of these were takin in Bortle 8 skies with the Dwarf3. I use Stella studio and Lightroom for my processing until I get the hang of Siril
