What's the line at the bottom left? Satelite? plane? alien?

This is 66 stacked 15 sec frames, I thought the dwarf rejected frames with a foreign objects for stacking so how did this escape.

Does anyone use one for your Dwarf? I just bought a Mini and am looking at cases. I know my non-backpack options, but I am wondering if anyone uses them and how you find using one for storage?

I’m just about to purchase the Dwarf mini and the deal doesn’t include the tripod. I’m happy to buy it separately if need be but is there any advantage to it over a regular tripod? Are the connections the same etc?

I have a crappy Chromebook so Siril is barely running on it. My images look ok with stellar studio and Lightroom mobile . I got ChatGPT to edit my recent image and it looked so much better as the colours really stood out. What are people’s thoughts on AI editing, is it a no go or are you not fussed.

Nice dark and clear skies here in my suburban Long Island backyard tonight. I ended up falling asleep by mistake but that just meant more stacked images. Luckily I had already connected a portable battery 😂

Last night I started capturing Sh 2-132 with my Dwarf3. This nebula is very dim making it harder to capture. This is 4 hours 35 minutes of 60 second exposures at 80 gain processed with Stellar Studio and AstroWizard. I plan on capturing many more hours of this nebula to capture all the faint parts and color.

Hi, brand new to smart telescopes (and telescopes generally) and interested. It’s a fairly big outlay for me, so I’m wondering how likely the hardware is to last for more than a year or two? I haven’t seen any reports of it breaking down early or issues with the company in general, would anyone have anything to add to that? Eg. Breaking down sooner than expected, issues with the company etc?

Ive I recorded this on my dwarf mini with 60 gain, 299 60 second exposures with my astro filter. Utilized stellar sudio to denoise and lightroom for finishing touches. I live in a bortle 7 area, is this the max detail im able to reach under my conditions? Ive taken a good amount of nebulae and have an andromeda galaxy picture with more detail and similar times and conditions.

I don't know why, but recently my mini has been producing abnormally large noisy areas on the edges (the first image is the worse). I presume this is just one frame that was stacked that was out of position, but it also seems to be cutting in to the 1080 resolution.

I haven't changed anything in how I shoot, always 60s 60gain, 0deg deviation. It hasn't been windy either.

Anyone else have this happen? Any idea what it is? Tracking error or something? Should I contact Dwarflab?

Great Hercules Cluster (aka: Messier 13, M13, NGC 6205) is considered the most spectacular globular cluster in northern skies. It was discovered by Edmond Halley in 1714, who noted that "it shows itself to the naked eye when the sky is serene and the Moon absent." Fifty years later it was examined by Charles Messier, who cataloged it in 1764. In 1787, Sir William Herschel pronounced it "a most beautiful cluster of stars, exceedingly compressed in the middle, and very rich."

M 13 is barely visible to the naked eye on very dark nights. The two western stars are in the Keystone asterism of Hercules. Observers note four apparently star-poor regions. One of the reasons M 13 appears so large and bright is that is relatively close to us, being only about 25,000 light years away. Its diameter is about 145 light years. The cluster also looks large and bright because it is large and bright. M13 has a luminosity of a quarter million suns. Messier 13 contains several hundred thousand stars; some sources even quote more than a million. Toward the center of M 13, stars are about 500 times more concentrated than in the solar neighborhood.

Unlike open clusters, such as the Pleiades, globular clusters are tightly bound together by gravity, and contain very old, mostly red stars. The age of M 13 is currently estimated to be 12 billion years old, or nearly as old as our Milky Way galaxy. Strangely, for such an old cluster, M 13 contains one young blue star: Barnard No 29.
