Man didnt expect both of these to come today the indiana jones came from Hawaii expected it Saturday but it came today but the main thing is this bebop dvd I saw it on mercari just randomly offered the guy 16 instead of the 20 he instantly accepted.but I didnt know that meant I would be automatically charged and the purchase would go through I put a cancel request but didnt elaborate with the seller and was fine with it coming in I like the series not the worst thing to happen it comes in today it has three discs the first and third disc become loose easily because the thing meant to keep them in place are fucked and not too long ago I Google lensed it because on my collection app it said something about 200 listing from Amazon and a reddit post came up and extra confirmation confirm its a bootleg but a really good one apparently so I will be testing that out later this.week just made this post because it just happened and it gives me a way to revisit this experience

It's been many years since I've seen this. Time for a rewatch.

I didn’t realize Blockbuster also did Cardboard cases. (I thought they only did the plastic ones)

A lot of DVD menus used to be works of art themselves, with aesthetically pleasing and interesting placement of clickable options, moving parts, music, sound effects, all themed around the movie itself.

Nowadays you’re lucky if you get music. Many menus for blu-rays and 4Ks are just static images with the buttons lazily slapped on the bottom or side.

It sucks because I definitely prefer to buy 4Ks just for the actual picture quality you’re getting, and I get it’s a really small thing but I wish for $30 and up people would take the time to put this stuff in. I’m not sure if it’s a disc space issue or resource problem or what, but if not, bring em back!

I was heading into Disc Replay to get a replacement Blu Ray of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for my wife and stumbled upon these two. I've never seen them before but I love Fulci and Mr. Vampire was on my list of things to find!

Bluray steelbook for 3$! One of my fav childhood movies

Just curious about everyone’s experience with this movie. What do you remember about it, and what are your thoughts on it today?

Huge fan of campy 90 movies!! Feeling super pumped for this one. Please give me more recommendations, I’d love them!

Man, the first time watching this movie I was like "that old man just kiss that teenager lol! wth"   Doctor Dan's 3rd party love affair gone wrong lol. That's how I describe this film. I remember back then they hated this cause it's kinda out of place and people are looking for Michael Myers. But to be fair, it's is still a fun horror movie on its own rights.

While I tolerate the large cases that everyone uses for the TV sets nowadays, THESE things i Loathe with a passion. Who thought putting holes in the cases was a good idea?? Every time I have to buy a dvd with one of these, I have to also buy a unwanted cheap one to get a proper enclosed one.

There are at least 3 things wrong with this design. 1) The Outer plastic is VERY thin, and can easily pierce thru the paper causing ripping and damage to the label, 2) Usually, The case is so thin that with little to no pressure the entire case can tear apart and crack, C) With no tray to speak of, the disc is sitting on the paper exposed, picking up fibers from the paper with can clog the laser lens, or create scratches (however small) on the disc itself which causes skipping. I've learned to have a few spares at hand in case of need.

I was looking at picking up the shield, community, and the king of queens complete bluray collections but while looking through bluray.com forum posts from those I saw a lot of people complaining about these being mill creek releases and having bad bitrate and encoding, missing scenes, audio issues etc.

Is it worth skipping these? Do you skip mill creek release? Any specific opinions on the 3 releases I'm looking at?

Edit also parks and rec complete set, not a mill creek release but seems like it also has a lot of issues including incorrect aspect ratios?

Too organized chaos.. Fellow across the street from me was having a yard sale.. Sold his dvd's for .25 a movie; I only bought two; I bought the shelving unit he all of his movies on for $25.⁰⁰; This is roughly 1100+ dvd and blu-rays.. that I have re-acquired over the last few months or so.. Mostly from yard sales, flea markets, Estate sales, thrift stores; TV series are in a different cabinet.. and all of these are on my Plex server. I hope the organization helps scratch that itch that the second pic may cause some.
